We were on a Viking cruise, and noticed the cleaning crew were all using Dyson V11 cordless vacuums, so we figured Viking probably knows what works best. Came home, ordered one, and we love it.

I bought another Dyson a few weeks ago and it's changed my life! I have 2 cats. I've been dragging a corded vacuum around for over 55 years. What a joy to have a light weight battery operated vacuum, that vacuums beautifully. One of the Dysons I bought is bigger a little heavier and more powerful. But both are fabulous. I'm really thrilled. Guess at 68 y/o these things are so helpful. The swivel is nice too. Ive not used any additional attachments, but will eventually. To empty the chamber was a bit of a challenge at first, but I'm a pro now!

I've had the V6 and then the V8, which recently died. Now I got the V11 which totally outperforms either one. Also, the docking device is easier to work with and the many attachments are amazing. However, it's heavier than the others; but the pluses outweigh the minuses.

After much research, I decided to get the Dyson V11 Extra and I am very happy with all it has to offer! All of the accessories that it comes with are so handy! It cleans surfaces very well. The only slight difficulty it has, is that it struggles a bit with my living room rug that is VERY thick/plush. I highly recommend this!!!
