I have had for 3 weeks and is working well. I have 2 great pyrenees dogs and the vacuum helps with the hair.

I purchased this to replace an older model with the old style dirt cup which was difficult to fully empty. That being said, I loved that vacuum. Hopefully, this new model will serve me as well. If it works out, I will never buy a different brand vacuum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst model so far

I loved my Dyson V8 so much but wore it out after a couple of years, went with the V11 and it didn't even last a year. I do vacuum daily due to having pets but 6 months and it was showing signs of wear!?! I also have the roller ball Dyson and its still holding up, just so terribly bulky. I just ordered the Dyson absolute, if this doesn't hold up as well as the V8 I guess ill have to cut my ties with Dyson, not because they are not great vacuums just the cost versus life of product is not equal. Also, changing the dirt removal from bottom side to where the wand extends is a real dumb design. My favorite thing with the 8 model is the simplicity of emptying of the canister.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used it once and it broke!

I used it once and then went to unload the waste and found the trigger was stuck. I could no longer use it. Had to send it back. This was a replacement for the one I had before which also broke.

Superb, but with caveat

i have been using my vac for about 3 weeks. I have 3 Pomeranian dogs, and appreciate its effectiveness, efficiency, and maneuverability. My biggest reservation is that the tiny filter fills so quickly and take 3 days to dry in MN, that i had to order additional filters to change off during one vac session and still have some dry ones to go again next time.

Great power but heavy

This is my second Dyson cordless vacuum. While the vacuums works great, I find that it is much heavier than my prior model. I find it odd that you have to remove the stick to empty it.

Strong battery and excellent cleaning strength

This is being used at a beach house with sand being a constant problem. The V11 works really well to clean up any mess but it's the convenience that's most valuable. It sits on charge ready to use for a large or small problem. Because it's so convenient it's being used multiple times a day, especially when the grand dogs are home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still difficult!

I replaced my not-so-old Dyson with this new one. Reason being I could not removed the head from the shaft in order to dump the contents. To do so, I had to lay it down flat to release the tension. I am having the same issue with the brand new one. I do not recommend these.
