I have been wanting one for awhile and my husband surprised me with an early Christmas gift. I have a toddler and two older boys and 2 inside dogs (they don’t shed) I got it out to try it and see how amazing it was with in 5 minutes my dirt compartment was full!! I vacuumed yesterday. I vacuum my carpets daily but 2-3 times a day on the weekends and a carpet clean every 2 weeks or I go crazy. What has my other vacuum done? Obviously not pick up dirt!! This is truly a game changer. If you are on the fence like me get the vacuum because you will not regret it and odds are you will have the same questions about your old vacuum! What has it been doing lol. Such an amazing product

I bought my vacuum in Dec 2020. By Nov of 2022 I had to replace the head for $150 bringing my total up to $700. Now it's stopped working all together. I have no idea if I would have to replace more expensive parts or not. I have a house that's under 1200 sq ft, half of which is carpet. I don't use the vacuum on the carpet, I use a full-sized Dyson vacuum on that. I specifically bought this for the tile to keep up with a little dog hair every couple of days. So, this hasn't been overworked by any means. I have used Dysons for probably 15 years, but I am very disappointed in this product and will probably switch brands, at least for this type of vacuum. $700 for 3 years of working isn't worth it to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is a satisfaction I get from vacuuming, not sure why, but I do. I have always wanted a Dyson and I am thanking my Bissell for breaking down at the right moment and allowing me to take advantage of the Black Friday sales. My V11 Extra came direct from Dyson itself, delivered quickly and packaged very well. Once it was fully charged and I used it for the first time, I quickly realized that all these years of wanting a Dyson were justified. The suction alone on the "auto" mode, surpassed my BISSELL® ICONpet® EDGE on its highest power level. Having a Siberian Husky, I needed something which would really get all that pet hair which is embedded in the rug. After the first time using my Dyson, it was as if I hadn't vacuumed in a month and vacuuming is something I did everyday. The Dyson V11 Extra is lightweight, very versatile and the battery life is amazing. Having the three power modes is key when having hardwood in one room, tile in another and rugs in others. The available attachments make this more than just a typical vacuum. I have already bought the Hair screw tool, dryer vent tool and even a Dog Grooming Vacuum Attachment Kit which is an aftermarket product but is made to work with the Dyson V11 and other models. I've only had my Dyson for 2 weeks and have been blown away by its abilities. There are two areas which I feel could be improved. 1: That the Motorbar™ cleaner head had lights on it and 2: The canister was removable without having to remove the cleaning wand to empty. Other than that, the Dyson V11 Extra is a beast and I highly recommend it for people like myself who get a strange satisfaction out of vacuuming.

No more cord wrestling

I’ve never had a cordless vac. How did I live without this for so long? It’s light, so maneuverable, and no tripping over cords! The dust cup is small, but worth it given all of the other amazing features.
