Have been using the vacuum about a month and it is excellent. Wish battery went a little longer than 1 hour but otherwise it does a great job with dog hair and dirt.

Took me a little while to get use to. This is my first stick vacuum. I had a Dyson upright that was big, bulky, & heavy for the last 8ish years. It still works however I never got it professionally cleaned and the expansion hose has needed to be mending with duck tape several times. It was the weight and size that was frustrating me though.
I got this one because I remember it being advertised as a pet vacuum. Truth is its just extra attachments that make it “pet” worthy. The other reason is it was on sale and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity. I have been happy/content with other Dyson.
Okay, review:
Pros: less bulk and easier for me to remove and put back in my little apartment cleaning closet. However, I got a stand for it and the attachments which take up more space. Love not worrying about a cord! Easier to dump waste than my old upright. It does look sleek but that’s not important for me, yet I will mention that to you.

Cons: it’s top heavy and means I need more strength in my arm and hand. Plus you have to hold the trigger to keep it running. I have new weakness issues and some physical limitations so the cons are a big deal for me. I’m bummed but not enough to return it. Plus, I already threw out the box, before trialing it. It has to have charge to use. Right now it’s not been a problem for me. I have a small one bedroom apartment and don’t run out of power or waste space.
Overall: Time will tell. If given a redo, I would have tried a different brand first. Something half the cost. For now it is a step up from my old upright.

VERY Happy with this vacuum! We have a Great Pyrenees dog. This dog sheds hair 24/7. I knew we were gonna need something very strong and the name Dyson rings with powerful. So we bought a V11. Great buy !

I am amazed at how excellent the suction is. I was planning to use this for quick clean-ups only because it’s able to adjust to both hard and carpeted floors (which is also great!) but it performed so well, I’ll be using it as my main vacuum cleaner. My only complaint is that it is quite heavy. But all in all, a great product!
