This my second Dyson V11. I simply wore the old one out. I use my vacuum 2 or 3 times a day. I am a caregiver for someone in a wheelchair and messy areas are common. I also own a Dyson ball corded machine but my favorite is the V11.

I owned a V10 before purchasing the V11. The trigger on the V10 gave out and I didn't realize you can purchase a whole new mechanical body for the V10 so I ended up purchasing a V11. I really liked the V10, it lasted 4-5 years and I had no issues with it for the most part. Comparatively, the fit and finish of the V11 is not as well put together, the suction doesn't seem as good, and I already had to get a replacement bin for it (after 1 week of use) cause the seal on the bin was coming apart. To be honest, I miss the V10. Some good things about the V11, it does come with additional attachments/tools that the V10 did not, and I do like the battery life indicator on the top of the tool now, instead of the previous spot under the hand grip. Outside of that, the V10 was better in most ways.

I am really enjoying my new Dyson V 11. It gets into hard to reach places under chairs and sofas, and around corners with ease. But I’m not happy that it doesn’t have a Stay on trigger. I bought a third-party accessory so that I can leave the vacuum in the on position without having to have finger fatigue from holding the button down. I wish Dyson had given that feature with the cost of the vacuum, it should have had that feature. But other than that, I am happy with the vacuum. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver.

This vacuum makes me want to sweep every day. It is so simple. Cordless makes life so sweet. I love that you can see how much you e picked up. It is gratifying and horrifying at the same time! I love that I’m capturing the dirt but amazed at how much it is picking up that I didn’t realize was even there.

My hubby ordered this V11 Dyson and I love it! My chief complaint is my finger gets sore from using it. There should be some kind of lock while using. Not so great on carpet.
