My wife and I bought our 2nd Dyson. We absolutely love this Dyson! We can’t imagine having any other type of vacuum. We recommend them to everyone thinking about getting a new one. The V11 is definitely better than the V8 on the grounds of better battery life. I will say it is quite a bit bulkier and heavier. However, the extended battery life is clutch, so allowing the weight and the bulkiness is perfectly acceptable considering the battery life of the V11 is double the V8.

I liked the vacuum until the head started making noise. I tried contacting support and have been told I need to call. The issue with this is the wait times are always 45mins or more. Unfortunately I have had to hang up each time before I can talk with someone. I really wish they had an online support for these issues.

Great, quality product. Well worth the price. I needed a cordless vacuum to so my stairs,
one set are carpeted, the other set is painted. The basis head is exactly the width of the stairs which makes cleaning them so much easier. The vacuum is light and very easy to use. It has great power and battery retention.

On the plus side, it cleans great. Pretty powerful. We have bare wood floors with some large throw rugs and it does fine. It's also surprisingly quiet. Battery runs about 35 minutes. Really easy to empty. Down side is it is heavy. Also there is no trigger lock. It would be better to have an on/off switch or a button you could push with a trigger lock like some power tools have. I am constantly switching back and forth from left hand to right hand. For the amount of money I question the value. If it lasts 10 years I might feel differently.
