I bought it for my mom due to needing a new vacuum hate to see her moving a cord all over or how heavy regular vacuum's are this thing is light weight and does a very good job she loves this thing.

this is my third Dyson and my second v11. This vacuum does not seem to be as powerful as my old one and it makes a strange noise but seems to work well so far.

Received a defective unit. Went threw support and waited a week for replacment power unit which also had a problem. Then Dyson tried to schedule warranty tech come out for a brand new vacuum. Seem like quality control issues which is in excusable at this price point. Returning everything after wasting hours of support for a vacuum cleaner.

Mixed review. This is an excellent battery powered stick vacuum cleaner for general cleaning; good battery life and powerful vacuum. However, dog hair can block air flow preventing dirt and hair from getting into the collection bin. Unlike older versions, power is not interupted when clogging occurs. In my case, I continued to vacuum. After I finished and tried to empty the bin, I had trouble removing to extension tube from the motor; dust/dirt caused it to bind. Dust was in all joints and the filter. The users manual was written in many languages and general instructions were not clearly explained. After extensive effort to clean the joints and filter, the machine is now usable.
I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone with dogs that shed hair.
