We overall love Dyson products including their vacuums. Unfortunately, our vacuums (going back to uprights to our current cordless sticks) just don't last as long as we think they should for the price. We generally get about 4-5 years out of them before they start losing suction. We do all the recommended maintenance. We'll see with this latest one (v11), which is doing great right now. It cleans well and is easy to use. We have about a 50/50 of carpet and hardwood floors it performs well on both.

I like the sleek look & lightness of the vacuum & its strong & different modes of suction power. I don’t like that I have to hold the button ( trigger) to keep it on. I wish it would allow me to work without constantly holding on the button. I also find it hard to use the brush to vacuum the curtains/ blinds because I have to hold up the vacuum while doing it.

Really enjoy the cleaning power; only two issues; is such a strong suction it's difficult to do throw rugs without someone to stand on the other end; second issue is no LED lights to light up the floor.

I purchased the V11, a few weeks ago, and am very pleased with its performance. This is my second Dyson. My V6 was a great tool, and it served me well for about 7 years. I have used my new vacuum about 8-10 times so far. It is powerful, and the attachments are great, especially the motorized small head. Love it for furniture! I highly recommend this vacuum.
