Great piece of equipment. I actually vacumemend my carpet with my standard Dyson vacuum and then went over the same area with my new V11 and was shocked by how much additional dirt was picked up by the V11.

The V11 is not the latest and greatest, but it's probably all you need. The battery capacity is excellent and the display on the top of the unit is excellent. The vacuum detects the ideal mode or you can select it yourself. Later models have more bells and whistles – and a higher price tag. If you just want an excellent vacuum that's easy to use and is at a much lower price than the latest and greatest, then this is a great choice.

I purchased my vaccume about two months ago and I couldn't be any happier. I was using a similar type, not cheep, but it just wasn't working well. My Dyson is incredibly superior. They say that you get what you pay for, but in my case I got a lot more from my Dyson.
