I have 5 dogs one being a Great Pyrenees and his hair clogs the opening into the canister which is aggravating not sure this should be an issue with an expensive vacuum like the Dyson. I purposely got this due to the large canister and figured I wouldn't have to empty it as often as the smaller Dyson I have but that is not the case since it clogs when the canister is barely full, so I have to stop and unclog. If you don't have fluffy dogs, you should be good with this vacuum. I have the Dyson 8 I think and have no issues at all with it I only upgraded because the canister on the 11 was bigger and I figured I could get away with emptying it less, that backfired.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm truly enjoying my new cordless Dyson. It's amazing how quickly I can vacuum my entire house since I don't have to stop to plug and unplug the cord as I move from room to room. Also, it's alleviated a major tripping hazard.

I have arthritis and it’s too heavy and long for me. I wish it had a light on it and that it could stand alone. I have to keep finding a spot to put it while I move furniture . Also it’s hard to put on and take off the charging station . The suction is very good .

Great suction which I was looking for in a cordless. It is a bit heavier than expected. You have to continually hold the on button to vacuum which is annoying. Also noted that the vacuum does not stand up by itself and you have to prop it on something if you have to stop to move something, etc while cleaning. This is also a bit annoying,
