I’ve always wanted a Dyson but could never afford it. I finally bought one and I am in total love with it. It is the best. All the other vacuums I’ve had in the past do not compare to my Dyson thank you Vicki Johnson.

It is unbelievable! I have had really great named vacuums before but this is the overabll best. No bags! Picks up wonderfully. The filter is easy to replace. Everything is easy about it. Honestly - I still reach for a cord and am so happy that there isn't one!!

4 stars because, as a senior, I find it quite heavy. The functioning so far is 5 stars. Compared to the Dyson V8 Absolute that I keep on another floor, this new V11 is heavier, but somehow better balanced and not quite as tiring to use. I like the point and shoot emptying but be sure you’re properly pointed because it happens fast! There is less emptying cloud/mess of dust. I was especially happy with the stand that came with it (not all sellers offer that). It’s relatively unobtrusive. The one thing that bothers me with both models is that there isn’t enough suction(?) to clean off the brushes once you remove them from the stick. With the canister type, all you have to do is take off the brush and run the wand part over it and it sucks off any debris on the brush…keeping your brushes clean. No way am I going to wash brushes in a sink. So, for me, that is the major ‘con’ of the Dyson. For the V8, I keep an old toothbrush to dig out the brushes. This new V11 so far is not dirty, but I haven’t used it much yet. The big ‘pro,’ which I think most of us agree on, is not having to drag the heavy canister vac out of the closet.
