I have always loved Dyson products but this V11 is very different. You have to hold the trigger button all the time to vacuum. It’s not like my other one. If I didn’t throw away the box I would have returned it! Not what I expected from Dyson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the specifically because I bought a beautiful rug for my family room, but it’s a shag rug and my regular vacuum locks up as soon as the shag hits the beater bar (no option to turn that off on my vacuum). I bought a stick vac that said it would work, doesn’t have enough suction to remove dog hair from it. I took a chance on the cordless Dyson 11 and it works like a dream on every surface in my house! Could not be happier!!!!

The V11 is habit-forming in the best way. After a couple of uses, I can swap out attachments by reflex; so when I see dust or dog hair, I grab the Dyson from its housing, clean up and hang it back in seconds, automatically, without losing my train of thought. Also in the two worst months for allergies, I've only had to take one Zyrtec while indoors.

My roommate owns the Dyson V10, she bought this about 3-4 years ago and really loves it. She encouraged me to try it a few times, and yes it’s amazing.
For many years I’ve been using a 50+ year old Kirby Classic which had belonged to my grandmother, nothing else really came close to the old Kirby, that is until I tried out my roommate’s Dyson. I thought when the Kirby vacuum dies I’m going to buy a Dyson.
Well 2 weeks ago the motor froze up, the Kirby had a great life 😂. Within 1 hour I ordered a Dyson V11 online @dyson. It has been with me for over a week and still it’s picking up dirt and dust that the Kirby left behind. Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal vacuum cleaner!! It’s my third one in 15 years. It’s unmatched. Picks up dirt, hair, lint, pet fur….You think your floors are clean until you use the Dyson machine and then you see how really clean the Dyson gets it! I love my Dyson!

This is my third Dyson cordless vacuum and I've loved every one of them. I can't remember the model of the first one but I really liked it then when the V8 came out we purchased it. We love the V8 I love the way it dumps and I was skeptical on buying the Dyson v11. I am a taller man and it is kind of difficult for me to push because all the suction that it has sometimes I have to bend over a little bit to push it because of all the suction. Other than that I'm really not excited the way the v11 dumps but I will get used to it and it seems like it sucks a lot better than the V8. I am very very pleased and I will probably not purchase anything else but Dyson. Oh and we do have a rainbow that we've had for years and the Dyson just blows the rainbow away. Even though it filters through water the dysons has a really really good filtration system.
