I like the face that it is cordless. I like that it seems to suck up more dirt than my 20 year old Dyson did. What I don’t like is it is heavy, top heavy, doesn’t stand up so I have to lay it on the floor and then stoop to pick it up. I have to sit down to detach the top from the bottom. The worst thing is on my rugs especially I have to push with my right hand and guide the bottom extension with my lest hand. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I could have tried it out first.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us. We're glad to hear that you appreciate the cordless feature, and the improved suction power of your new Dyson compared to your older model. However, we understand that the weight, balance, and design have caused some inconvenience, particularly when using it on rugs. We apologize for any discomfort this has caused and appreciate your honest feedback. Your insights are valuable to us as we strive to improve our products. We would like to look further into this for you. For detailed information, please feel free to email us again at askdysonUS@dyson.com and include ‘Dyson Review’ in the subject line for prompt attention to this matter. We appreciate your patience and hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
The canister on this model is too small. I am keeping it, but I do not understand why it’s capacity is so much smaller than other models. Dyson should have some method of doing a side by side comparison of those models OR some sort of tool on their website showing a comparison of the models and suggest use.
My 6 year old Dyson V11 decide to act up and work when it wanted to. I saw the new version of the Dyson V11, and liked all the new changes. I bought it and have been vacuuming everywhere. I have 2 dogs and this is perfect for their cleaning up their hair.
We have gone though various Dyson models and we have always been happy with their performance; from the corded ball one to a V7 and now the V11. We love the extended run time when using the V11.
