We bought this a few weeks ago and are loving it. The suction is great - we use it on hardwood floors mostly. The middle range is sufficient for our needs except when we use it on our thick-shag carpet when we use the boost mode. Over-all I'm very happy with it. Some of the housing is plastic and seems a bit flimsy for the pirce paid but so far it is great.

I find it hard on the hands. I have arthritis and I feel it heavy and painful at pressure points.
It is very hard if not impossible for me to break down the wand to use other features, ex. vacuum the stairs, reach the ceiling corners .
Vacuum part is just fine. It picks up the dirt and easy to clean out.
