The Dyson V11 is an excellent vacuum. Great run time - I did my whole house (2200sf) on one charge. Suction is particularly strong. Large array of attachments for any cleaning job. Easy dumping and general maintenance.

I bought this vacuum about one month ago. It’s a bit heavier than I thought, however it works much better than I could imagine. I purchased the V11 extra that came with all the possible attachments I would ever need. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Not as good as the V10

Louder, clunky, and can’t handle any carpet mats. We previously had the V10 and loved it. We used it daily until we finally wore it out. Bought the V11 as the replacement and haven’t liked it much.

It is loud. On hardwood floors the rotating brush kicks dirt out the back towards my feet.. In a small space like a laundry room the exhaust air the blows out the side of the vacuum blows the dirt on the floor around. The exhaust air blowing out the side will blow things off the table or counter, which gets annoying pretty quick. I have received multiple requests for a review, so many it is like being stalked by a ex lover, unrelenting requests for a review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor suction on hardwood floors

I am pretty disappointed in my new Dyson. I am a mom of 3 and it barely picks up Cheerios on hardwood floors unless they are crushed. It is great on carpet but lacks a great deal on hardwood floors. I was expecting a lot more from Dyson and will be looking at new companies for future purchases.
