Bought this vacuum about a month ago and I have to say I am pretty disappointed. The suction isn’t nearly as strong as I would expect from a Dyson vacuum. And the battery life is terrible. I find myself using the “boost” mode to make up for the lack of suction and the battery doesn’t even make it 40 minutes fully charged. Even on the Eco and regular mode it does not get me through a complete cleaning of the two floors of my home. I constantly have to stop mid job to recharge the battery. The only thing I am happy with is that it is cordless. But I do feel like I made a mistake in purchasing this vacuum and I will be looking into other options.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new Dyson cleans really well. I just wish it came with a printed user guide. Removing the dust bin (emptying it) and reattaching it is not very intuitive. If I had a printed user guide to remind me of the steps, I’d be so much happier.

Excellent cordless vacuum cleaner, nimble and with amazing vacuum power that allows very fast and efficient cleaning of wood and carpet floors. With these type of powerful cordless cleaners there's no longer any need for big, heavy and cumbersome corded cleaners for most home cleaning tasks.

Head does not stay down on any type of floor. Can’t vacuum under anything either. It raises when you lower the handle. Going back to Dyson. Do not recommend.

I love my Dyson. My daughter has dark wooden floors that show every bit of dust and dirt I just grab it and pick all the dirt up. My only grip is the buttons to release the parts should be on top not under, being a elderly sometimes makes it a bit difficult.

I’ve only had mine for a few weeks but so far this vacuum is a beast! It has no hair tangled in the beater and gets built in dirt on your floors beds and furniture like nothing I’ve ever seen! The power does go down quicker than expected but other than that it’s a total winner so far!
