So far so good, we've only used it twice. The battery only discharged slightly after two uses, hoping the battery lasts several years. I noticed in some reviews, the battery can be an issue.
As far as the performance of the vacuum, we like the light weight of the unit, the suction is very good and the different attachments are nice. My wife isn't a fan of the trigger. She didn't realize the trigger had to be engaged as the vacuum was be used. The wall mount is easy to install but seems to be a little fragile, hopefully it will stand up to time and use. Time will tell how much we do like the Dyson V11 extra.

I Absolutely love my V11!! I am able to maneuver in tight areas, Because it is not heavy, I can easily handle for use up or down the stairs. The pickup , especially on the carpet, is awesome. Also glad that I can leave it plugged in for charging and it doesn’t damage the battery. It’s always ready for my use. I had no ideal I would be this satisfied with a stick vacuum. I thought nothing would top my Kirby. Though it still performs well for cleaning, the weight of moving it up and down stairs and maneuvering of it in tight areas has become too much for me.
