This is my second Dyson I had the 8. Light weight and love how it swivels for easy access to get under tables,sofas and beds for vacuuming. The suction is powerful that I very really take out my sears canister.The only thing I don’t like is taking off the stick to dump the dirt for some reason the 8 was easier, but I still like my Dyson.

I purchased the Dyson V11 Extra a month ago and right now happy with it. There are just a couple of items that could be improved, but not show stoppers. The first is the small amount of collection debris the cup holds. If this could be larger would be less times to empty during a house cleaning. The second is when holding the trigger down to vacuum there is a seam where the plastics join together and is a little abrasive on my finger. I needed to sand the area down in order to make it comfortable. Other than those items I am happy with how it cleans on all my bare floors and different carpet piles.

My third Dyson, second "hand held " ( first lasted almost a decade.) This is even better than its predecessor. I am admittedly a tad OCD and happily walk about our home with the machine. The manufacturer has nailed it.

I now vacuum most every day with my new cordless v11 extra from Dyson. With three dogs and a lot of dirt and mud in the yard it’s hard to keep up with hair and dirt. This cordless makes it easy to vacuum up dirt and hair quickly. So far so good
