Great quality tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv has exceeded my expectations! I love the picture quality and sound performance! The colors are so vibrant and brings the content to life! The sound is sharp and you can hear voices very clearly. One of my favorite things is that I can connect my Sony soundbar for that extra bass. I also love that this tv has the ability to connect to your smartphone and easily control the settings.

I bought this TV 1 month ago and it is nothing but a Disappointment.... Randomly turns on or off ... Just garbage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The TV is wonderful. Amazing picture comma really good sound from the built-in speakers, beautiful build quality absolutely first class. My only complaint is not actually with Sony, it’s with Rogers cable in Canada. They won’t seem to allow the Sony remote to change the channels. It can do everything else, make fine adjustments of contrast, they just won’t let it do the channels. They want you to use theirs. I wish Sony would use their might to put the boots to these guys, arguably The worst Internet and television service on planet Earth. And probably the most expensive. As far as TV goes, though, it’s always been tough to beat Sony, and I think it still is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great imagine quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the pictures don’t do it justice, but great imagine quality. it has different modes to set the picture in depending on your mood or what you’re watching. such a different and software from my old sony (which was also great) the interface is so easy to navigate and very aesthetically pleasing. The sound is good i connected it to my home theater though and it sounds great.

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is an upgrade from my Bravia LED TV. I had the higher end LED Sony Bravia in the same size as the mini-LED TV. From the outside the two TVs are nearly identical, both are the same dimensions, including width, and both have the same plastic back paneling and trims. Both run the same Sony Bravia and Google TV software. Setting up my accounts on the Smart TV was extremely fast and easy both times.
The biggest difference is that the mini LED is noticeably crisper and more saturated. I was extremely happy with my LED TV, but the mini-LED is a clear upgrade. And there's no worry about burn-in like with OLED. While OLED would have even crisper blacks, the mini-LED is already very good and much brighter than an OLED. I use it in a bright room with no issues with screen brightness. There is a small amount of glare, the TV screen is satin-ish, so I'll see a soft reflections of my lamps, but my side windows don't give glare unless it's shining right on the TV. This is the same level of glare from my previous TV, so it's likely the same across the Bravia line.

The 65” Bravia 7 assembly and install requires at least two people. Connected it to Xfinity for now; IQ Fiber will be installed in a week which should make an improvement in the already great picture. Some people changed the position, but Startup was relatively easy but took time when setup the streaming services, e.g. Netflix, Prime, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set up time a hassle and intrusive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have Samsung tvs and hoped this one would be better since it’s newer. However, the picture quality was not as sharp as my 3 year old Samsung tv. The sound was great and clear. Plugging in the stand to the tv was easy. However, Set up was a nightmare and took a very long time. It also asked a ton of questions that attempted to sync everything to this tv which didn’t make me feel comfortable. Logging into my Google account and having it load all my info felt a bit intrusive. When I tried to skip, it asked me if I was sure and named me everything I wouldn’t be able to do by not sharing the info. In terms of speed of opening and switching apps, it was super fast, which I would’ve expected with a new tv. Overall, not better than other similarly priced tv.

You can skip all the smart feature and Google account setup on the TV by not connecting it to the internet. However, you will lose the ability to receive software updates that will help the TV improve performance over time any plus the use of apps on the TV.
