Great for Stills, too much $$ for crippled video

I would've loved it if they would've released an option for stills only instead of paying more to include a crippled video portion, I can't justify this only being able to use 4k30, & paying the high price for video that is useless. Hope they do something about it, bummed I will have to return

Overheating issue and bad recovery time!

The camera overheats quickly and it takes for ever to recover that makes it unusable, No noticeable diffrence in 120 fps vs 60 fps EVF, battery life is bad compared to my R and 5D IV.

It's not what I expected for a 3K camera

Nice camera. Layout is ok. Menu is great, functions are outstanding. Happy with the fact it has an audio recorder for photo journal work. Really sad it's only 72 dpI... really Canon? You already know the standard for print work is 300 dpi. (which the R6 MK II has!) Just another tactic to force us into a buying a better, more expensive camera body.. Your multiple tactics to force us into making you more money sickens me. Just like forced canon lenses because you won't release the data for others to create the RF mounts.

Great camera! I'm pleased with my decision to go with the EOS R even with newer options on the market. This camera offers great image resolution and quality. Additionally, the camera produces brilliant colors and is easy to operatem RF lenses The fact that there are several RF lenses on the market with image stabilization, it makes up for lack of IBIS inside the camera. Overall, great mirrorless full frame camera for hobbyists and professionals a like. I'm pleased with my purchase and hope to have it for a while to have it a long time.

Very good focus (animal/people/eyes), IBIS, no blackout viewfinder, no crop video, build, and ergonomics. Having trouble getting Lexar V60 SD card to shoot faster than 5fps. Other than that, exceeds expectations.
