Beautiful simple sewing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice dependable sewing machine that a is extremely easy to use, good for beginners or experienced sewers. The machine is very easy to thread both the top needle and the bobbin thread. There are very easy to follow instructions and it's a very easy process to remember. Stitch selection is also very easy by just selecting the number of the stitch you want and the machine automatically makes the adjustment and off you go. Stitch length and width are also set with push buttons up or down and displayed on the LED monitor. The machine comes with everything you need to begin sewing, bobbin needle, sewing feet and instructions, just add your own thread. The machine is very light and easily portable but it is very well made and seems to be very sturdy. I would gladly recommend this to anyone needing a new machine.

Great sewing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely machine and you can tell it is well made. The size is great as it is not too large and easy to store and move around. As a beginner, it was a bit to set up but it was not too bad. There are many options of stitches to choose from and is easy to thread. I look forward to using this more. Overall a wonderful product!

I mad me more confidant in my skills and made things so easy to do. set up and getting started were a breeze. the tutorials were a huge help. Definatly worth looking into even if you are a beginner!

Very Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brother 60-Stitch Computerized Sewing Machine has a good weight to it so it doesn't move around when sewing but it is not so heavy that it is not easily picked up and moved when you are done using it. I found it was easy to set up by just following the included operation manual, however, this sewing machine comes with a QR Code so you can watch actual videos of how to set up and operate this sewing machine. I do like that the QR Code is not only in the manual but also right on the front of the machine. The LCD screen is easy to see. The LED light in the needle area is bright enough to easily see your work. Performance wise this sewing machine works extremely well for my needs which is basically doing alterations to clothing as well as curtains. It handles heavy denim material as well as lightweight sheer curtains. The thing I love most is that brother gives you so much free lifetime support with this machine, there is online as well as phone technical support so if you run into a problem brother is right there to help you. I highly recommend this sewing machine, it is easy to use whether you are a beginner, or have experience and it's performance was exceptional.

Perfect for beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters I am a beginner and haven't touched a sewing machine in 15 years, but so far this has made re-learning really easy! It was simple to set up and there is a QR code on the front that takes you to a collection of videos to show you how to do things (thread machine, sew button hole, change needle, etc.). It's relatively compact and has a front section for storing all of the accessories. There so many built in stitch patterns/foots that come with the machine and am excited to learn how and when to use all of them. So far I have hemmed a few pants and made one button hole.

I was worried it wasn’t like the old fashioned machines where you just put your string through the needle and go, but this machine is very user friendly, and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let. me start by saying I do not enjoy sewing very much. I do it out of necessity when I need to fix or make something. I think the reason is that I always end up fighting with my machine. Tangled thread, fussy bobbins, broken needles, bad tension settings, all leave a bad lasting impression. So when I went to sew a special graduation gift for my daughter, I was dreading the process. I decided to use this new computerized sewing machine from Brother. I had never tried this brand before. It was easy to set up and I was able to get started without the video tutorials. (However, I do plan on checking them out to see what else this machine can do.) As I began to sew, I kept waiting for something to go wrong. (It always does!) The closer I got to completion without any issues, the more amazed I was. Then it happened…the presser foot came off as I was sewing. I must have had too much material bunched up beside it and it popped off. I was expecting to waste at least another 5-10 minutes wrestling with it to put it back on. How surprised and relieved I was that it took only seconds and I was on my way sewing again. I finished the project in record time with only one little hiccup that was an easy fix. This is unheard of in my experience! I am looking forward to learning all of the other things this machine can do. Perhaps I will actually enjoy sewing after all! I think this would make a great beginner sewing machine and I am planning to gift one to my younger daughter this Christmas.
