The watch is great if it's connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Other than texts there's effectively no LTE data capability though. The watch overheated all 3 times I tried streaming a podcast on a walk without my phone. Calls out of phone range kill the battery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Not graleat battery life. The watch doesn't have good response to motions and doesn't do the functions intended to perform on those motions. Watch 6 was much better than watch 7

Amazing with only 1 issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy 7 watch is perfect for visually looking great. Bands to suit your outfits. Apps that work seamlessly with eachother. Easy to adapt to your phone and no issues with hearing calls or monitoring your phone with it still in your pocket. I love all the features the watch has, and Im a big supporter of the style they used for these as a man who doesn't see himself wearing an oversized watch. This is a perfect size for me. My only concern and it is one I can't look past as it also keeps me from using the watch anymore. Is the very limited battery life. I am getting the Ultra next as it promotes a more lasting battery to make the watch useable for a full day, no matter if the day runs long and or if I use the watch to its fullest extent throughout the day. I can't speak enough on how unfortunate it is that the Watch 7 has such a limited battery. Who can buy a watch that only tells the time a partial amount of your day. When you wake up early, and put in a long 12 to 14 hour day at work, and you go to look at your watch after your done showering etc... to see if your gonna have time to watch a movie and unwind before bed. Only to see it has died at somepoint and you likely missed calls because your phones been on silent all day at work. It creates a problem. Anyways. wish I could say it was great as I am a diehard Samsung guy and so is my family. But they slipped up a bit this go around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew I was going to love this watch, but I didn't realize how much. The Galaxy AI technology is amazing! It's helping me with my fitness routine and health awareness by monitoring my sleep cycles, my heart rate, my breathing, risk of sleep apnea, idle time verse activity time, etc. The sound quality/volume of phone calls is really quite good. It runs pretty much all the same apps that I have on my phone, plus a few just for the watch. I do wish that the notification, call, & system sounds on the watch mirrored the sounds I have selected on my phone, but it's no big deal. All in all, it's greatness & mine was FREE. You can't beat free! Lol

Seems to be able to be off the charger for 3 days, as long as it's not on my wrist. Because of this battery problem, I haven't been able to really sit and fiddle with all of the settings so that it is more user friendly. Very difficult to scroll through and find the appropriate app while in use.
