GPS is Garbage

The GPS on this watch is very inaccurate, and does not come close to what I get using only my S23, and what I got on my many years old Galaxy Active watch. That watch always agreed with any of my phones.
I used the new watch on vacation when we were around 5,000 feet elevation and a completely clear sky. Even under these ideal conditions it was still not accurate.
Second, the watchband style where the excess is pushed under leaves bruises on my arm. On my Active watch I had to buy a replacement for the fix.
Samsung, this is not the high quality that we expect from you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Battery Life

The features the watch offers are great. However, the battery drains quickly, even after the supposed patch fix. Sleeping it losses 25-30% from 100%. Turning bluetooth off helps but still 15-27%. If watch updates while sleeping, losses 85%! I have turned off wifi, any fitness tracking, heart rate monitor, location, notifications, and anything that can be turned off and still have to charge 1-2 times a day. I've only had for just over 2 wks but turning everything off isn't what I purchased it for. Overall not happy due to extreme lack of battery life. The sleep and fitness tracking are very good and detailed info but if I use them I have to charge it 3-4 times a day. Unacceptable for the price.

One HUGE flaw

A factory reset every time the battery dies?!? The watch works well, as a whole, but don't EVER let the battery die, or it will complain that it lost connection with your phone. You'd think this may involve just a simple re-pairing, but...no. You factory reset your watch, and then spend the next 4 hours trying to get it reconnected to your phone. This will be the last Samsung product I purchase.

The Watch7 battery can last for several days before needing to be placed on the charger, depending on your settings and how you use your device. If you're experiencing less than expected battery life on your device, please take a moment to review, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors may be impacting the life of your Watch7 battery. Apps you download and install onto the watch can cause the watch to get stuck in a boot loop or not boot past the logo screen. Rebooting it should fix the problem, but you will need to uninstall any apps that were installed before the issue occurred. If the watch is connected to a phone, you must clear the data for the Galaxy Wearable app. If the problem continues, inspect the watch and charger for damage, and factory reset the watch. Pretty watch, but the battery is absolutely horrible. What is the point of having a watch to monitor sleep patterns when the battery won't last through the night? This is a huge disappointment. Do not recommend.

Terrible battery life on 40mm.

40mm battery life is disgusting. 8 hours with power saving on is a joke. How on earth can you with a straight face, tell customers this thing will last 60 hours on batter saver when it can't last the night? We also ordered a 44mm and it's been great. Avoid the 40mm.

Great watch! Great user interface! PLEASE start putting bigger batteries in your watchs. Garmin amoled watches can easily last 2 weeks on a charge and yours maybe 4 days. Thats my only gripe. Thanks for the trade in program too.
