Excellent basic pellet smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new grill and wanted a basic but well built pellet smoker. The 450B fits the bill. So far I've only done one cook in it, but I am very happy at this price point for quality and performance. Long term we'll see how well it does, but at this point I'd recommend this grill to anyone looking for a simple pellet grill that works well. Finer temp control and a meat probe would be nice, but at this price point I wouldn't think you'd be getting quality and the controller does a great job of maintaining the set temp, just don't have as many graduations to set at but not really an issue for me.

Welp tested the 450 zGrill with some 1" pork steaks. The set it and forget nature will freeing up my time allowing my wife to remind me of my to do list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this grill. I wish there were a few more directions on how to use it. Like what temps and for how long for different meats. So far all I've done is hamburgers and some chicken wings. Just simple things to get used to using her.

Used it for the first time to make just burgers and everyone said they were some of the best burgers they’ve had!! Loved that I got a smoke ring on them in just a short cook!!

Good smoker for money

It smokes good and stable, a bit on the small side but can do a rack of spare ribs. When using at a higher temp for brats and burgers it does have a couple hot spots but cooks fairly well. Good materials and has great cover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I broke my 450B in one some 3.2.1 Baby Backs, chicken hips, and a dish of smoked Mac and cheese. 4 hours of run time between smoke and 325 and the PID controller worked flawlessly. Excited about grilling again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Putting the grill together was a bit of a hassle as the box arrived damaged and some of the screws were missing. I was able to get replacements at a local hardware store and finish the assembly. Cooked some ribs, burgers and dogs. Smoke the ribs for about 6 hours and OMG they were amazing. Burgers were good with a slight smoky flavor. Looking forward to smoking a brisket and trying some other stuff. Wow!
