Works well, good smoke, easy to use, holds temps well and enjoyable to smoke and grill with.
So far I have done two chickens and pork belly burnt ends. It has exceeded my expectations.

This is a value packed grill

This is my first pellet grill, so I was excited to get it setup. The shipping & packaging was great, everything arrived as it should. The 3 step setup instructions lack necessary detail when it comes to what screws and washers go where, but being a reasonably smart person I figured it out. The first step, attaching the legs is the worst. The supplied screw driver (nice as it is) was not suited for the job as it's too long, but I have some unique tools and know how, so I figured that out too. I had to enlist help attaching the legs, but that's to be expected. The one flaw for me is the warming rack, which has too little clearance to the top frame, so it's too hard to get utensils in/out. That's piece will probably be left off for normal use. Lastly there was a calendar in the package which was pretty cool, but it's a 2022 calendar. Got any current ones (and perhaps a hat ) ?
The burn in instructions were easy to follow, and I used the grill the next several days for standard fair (burgers and brats). I've never made a better burger on a grill, and I've been grilling for over 40 years. I've got a turkey breast smoking today, can't wait to try that.
I compared the Pioneer 450B to a comparably sized Traeger, which is much more expensive, so this unit is a great value. I like to grill year round, and I've always wanted to have more cooking control, and to be able to smoke meat as well. Looking forward to getting lots of use out of this grill this year. :-)

BAD after putting the grill together and following the direction on how to use for the first time everything seem to work but on the first start up the auger did not work on full turn it kept stopping after about a half turn.

Greatest grill I’ve ever purchased! Perfect for a relaxing cookout! Our first meal was thick cut Iowa Pork Chops and we’ve never had anything on the grill like this that turned out so tasty and tender! Love the fact you can put food on the grill and basically walk away rather than have your time consumed watching your food for fear of burning. Love it!
