[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this laptop, but there are a couple issues that frustrate me.The first issue is that the track pad is large and to the far left of the laptop. My thumb keeps touching it, and often the text I've just written disappears after I've touched the track pad. My previous Lenovo laptop had a smaller track pad located in the center of the laptop, and I never had issues with it. The second issue is that the Home key is part of the number pad. I use the number pad a lot, but I have to turn it off if I want to use the Home key.
Aside from these two issues, I'm happy with the performance of the ThinkBook 15 Gen 4 AMD (15"). I also like that it's slimmer and lighter than my previous Lenovo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. If you have a windows sign-in screen, use "Shift + Restart" the power icon should be on the bottom right-hand corner clicking on it you should see the option to restart.
2. Interrupting the normal boot process three times in a row, if Windows 10 fails to boot normally it enters by default in an automatic repair mode. You can use the power button to interrupt it. Then select advanced options when automatic repair mode is triggered.
3. Use a windows 10 installation and the command prompt. By selecting repair your computer to trigger advanced options again.
