[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the "Build Your PC" function on the Lenovo website and ordered this laptop with a Ryzen 7 processor, 1Tb SSD, and some other extra features. Shipping was supposed to be within a week but took a little bit longer with the product arriving in Canada 2.5 weeks after purchase.
Design is great, it feels sturdy and is very fast and quite during my everyday usage (MS Office, GIS software). The fan does kick in when I play some video games (e.g., Hearthstone).
For the negatives or things I didn't expect: I was surprised by the bad sound quality which I found quite echoey. The backside does get quite warm during gaming. It is only just okay to have it on your legs. The charging cord is only 170cm and the charging unit is right at the outlet. None of these are really problematic.
Overall, I am really happy and think this is an excellent product, but I would have not bought it without some discount.

Pretty disappointed in the computer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this computer at the beginning of October to use now that I am back at university. I made some modification in order to have a decently fast computer that will last me for the next couple of years. I also really like that this computer had the option to have a french keyboard which is important to me.
Ill preface this my saying that I think my computer might be a dud as the problems I have dont align with the specs of my computer.
However, now I am am stuck with an extremally slow computer that has a hard time watching a Youtube/Netflix video while also writing a text on word and looking things up on google. The battery is really bad, having a hard time getting through some of my longer classes even if it is fully charged at the beginning. It also shuts off at random intervals (When the battery isn't dead) . I have run the classics like antivirus and c-cleaner and don't download anything except for for school pdfs. Just writing this review, the words are lagging quite a bit and I only have my browser with two tabs open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great all around laptop for the price. The laptop has fast performance with the Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7. The construction of the laptop is very durable and strong. The keyboard is backlit and has a really nice clicky feel. The battery life will last 4-6 hours with light weight tasks. The only reason I give the laptop a 4/5 stars is the audio. The audio is quite poor with limited range and no bass what so ever.
