Pretty disappointed in the computer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this computer at the beginning of October to use now that I am back at university. I made some modification in order to have a decently fast computer that will last me for the next couple of years. I also really like that this computer had the option to have a french keyboard which is important to me.
Ill preface this my saying that I think my computer might be a dud as the problems I have dont align with the specs of my computer.
However, now I am am stuck with an extremally slow computer that has a hard time watching a Youtube/Netflix video while also writing a text on word and looking things up on google. The battery is really bad, having a hard time getting through some of my longer classes even if it is fully charged at the beginning. It also shuts off at random intervals (When the battery isn't dead) . I have run the classics like antivirus and c-cleaner and don't download anything except for for school pdfs. Just writing this review, the words are lagging quite a bit and I only have my browser with two tabs open.
