Simple to run, .moderate control

Simple setup, seems to only have moderate features and in depth control. A little high in pricing for the power of the equipment. Took 3 ORBIs and I still have less coverage area than a single standard router design

Easiest setup ever but DHCP inflexible

I have 1 Orbi with 2 satellites and wifi coverage is now great in our home and noticeably faster than with the Cisco predecessor. Setup was a breeze -- working within 5 minutes. I have only one complaint. Even if you pick a class B IPv4 address, DHCP on the Orbi will only let you have a 24-bit mask (i.e. 255.255.255.0 or 254 devices) for DHCP. Now that is enough for most homes. But when you have smart light bulbs, smart thermostats, Alexa controlling everything, and a large family with a host of wireless devices, I can see the day soon when 254 IP addresses will not be enough. So why not let me use a private class B space and have DHCP have at least a /23 space (500+ IP addresses)? Netgear, please add some flexibility to your DHCP. Other than that, I'm a big fan! And I love the integration with Circle to put some granular permissions / constraints on my wireless users.

Excellent value!

During initial setup I "bricked" it (pulsing white ring and power led flashing red) but was able to follow the instructions in the link below and it is performing flawlessly now.

“Pandemic era must have WiFi System”

In these unprecedented “stay at home” orders in place where work from home and online school becomes a new norm for every student, it’s very important that you choose the most trusted name in the networking business, Netgear . We’ve always relied on Netgear for years to fulfill our WiFi and networking requirements. Since I have 3 sons (2 in university and 1 in elementary school) who are quarantined with me at home and need a 24/ 7 reliable WiFi system, we’ve opted to invest on an Orbi WiFi system. This means that any nook and corner of our home can address any internet connection requirement that they demand; plus giving me some much needed Alexa enabled companion while relaxing with some music or keeping updated with all my to-do lists for the day...without hearing any of my sons complaining that they got kicked out of their online classes because of an unreliable internet system. Thank you, Netgear, for another innovative connection!

Great product, highly reccommend!

We have a 3500sq foot home with about 10-15 devices connected depending on the time of day. We needed a whole home mesh system as we had to switch routers in different parts of the house. Tried the Linksys velop for a while, which worked ok for a while but was frustrating, slow and the satellites ( i needed 2 satellites vs 1 satelite with netgear Orbi), had to be reset frequently when the network slowed down. Not an issue any longer and no downtime. Love the system and highly recommend. Not a techie but without enough knowledge to set it up.

Flawless

I received the routers at noon via fedex and we were up and running by 12:30. Easy, precise and fast.The app allowed me to keep our same network name and password easily to make the transition flawless. The range of the wifi covers our entire property. They are aesthetically pleasing. A great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
