Great Coverage and Signal Strength!

Installed the ORBI RBR50 in our 2500 square foot home which suffered from weak Wi-Fi signals due its length and a Sun Porch shielded by interior brick walls. The system was very easy to install and setup. All devices throughout the house are now getting 150 to 800+ MBPS connections to the main router or satellite unit. For example, I have seen iPhones connect at 800+ MBPS. I suspect some of the lower speeds (but still fast at 150 MBPS) are only restricted by the individual device capabilities. My ISP connection is currently capped at 200 MBPS so this system gives us plenty of room for future growth and even faster internet access should we ever decide to increase our ISP connection speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best wireless upgrade

Paying for gig speed was getting 30mb. Upgraded n getting almost 500mb. Nice not to see the hamster wheel spinning anymore!

It sucks hard

Solved my range problem

I was a bit tricky at first, but it works well once up and running. Don't really understand how to get a satellite to hop through another satellite so the far satellite didn't seem to have good connection at first, but after a day or two, it seems to correct itself. Also couldn't figure out have to setup 2.4ghz network.

It was great to start, but then loses connections

Initially the system worked beautifully. Then soon after the 90 support window was up, the connection became spotty. It would drop connection or be really really slow, even when the internet coming into it was stable and fast. It is still under warranty for being broken, but they offer no free support after 90 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reliable product and easy to install

I installed the RBK50 AC3000 with 2 WiFi satellites, and connected 7 security cameras, a smart TV, Orbi irrigation system, and my laptop computer and they all run fast, smoothly with no interference or delays.Installation was easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So easy to set up, even easier than my Netgear extender. Was looking for something to help with my wifi signal on my sunporch outside. This has been a wonderful investment, well worth the money. Would definitely recommend Orbi to anyone having wifi issues due to distance between modem and devices.

I have a 2800 sf. home and like many the internet hookup is at one end and where we spend most of our time is at the other end. With our old system the signal was weak but now with the satellite nearby there are no issues. Also the setup was easier than expected since it let me use my old systems ID and Password. Thanks !
