Just installed Orbi Mesh Network, router and two satellites in a 2000 sq ft home. Get great signal out on the lanai out back and great signal in the garage. Whole house is covered. Very easy to install.

Better home coverage

Traded in our Xfinity rented gateway in hopes that this would provide better Wifi coverage upstairs. And it is much better! Seeing similar speeds all around (200mbps plus, service max) and much better connections in the upstairs rooms. Have been running about a month now with now complaints. Easy setup. Should pay for itself eventually now that we are no longer renting equipment from Xfinity.

I had a tech come out to run a new line in my house and instead mentioned going with a mesh network and the Orbi system. Although it was a little pricey I have had 0 issues with it gaming and working and has not dropped connection. Overall happy with the purchase and ability to freely move my devices around with the house now without having to run new lines each time.

I have been using the Netgear Orbi for about a week. It does work well. I have 2500 sq ft home and using one Satellite. I might need one so that I get better coverage on our back porch. I do not like that I cannot force devices to the router or satellite. For some reason some of my devices are using the router even though it is further away from it than the satellite.
