Fantasticness in a small package

The orbi is fantastic, I am pulling about 350 - 380 mgs a second over wifi on my phone.
I still have some testing to do but so far it has checked all the boxes in my list.
I tent to have drop out every so often but I can usually fix within a few minutes but I think it's more of a signal through wall issue.
I have my video game hard wired into the orbi satellite and it's blazing fast, I just wish it was as fast as the wifi speeds on my phone.
Overall it's a great product and I will recommend to anyone looking to improve the home internet speeds.

Absolutely Fantastic Product

My home has three floors and I have tried everything on the market to enable WiFi around the entire house - nothing worked. We moved the router upstairs and downstairs and in this room and that room. We bought a better router and then a best router. We bought an extender and then a better extender. Nothing helped.....until we bit the bullet and purchased Orbi. Instant success. Easy to set up and streaming quality WiFi anywhere in our home. This should have been the first purchase - no question. Worth EVERY penny. Would recommend to anyone.

Unbelievable!

I have gig speed in my home so I bought the google WiFi system with 3 points. It worked ok but the speed varied dramatically and I never got over 120 mbs. After about a month I kept having to reset it and the speeds were terrible (not to mention only one LAN port). I sold my google and tried the nighthawk but it didn't quite have the range so I returned it for the Orbi. I have 2 orbi's and they work great. I get 400 to 500 mbs 1 room away and 360 to 400 mbs 2 rooms away. Setup was easy and I have no complaints. Best WiFi system I've ever had.

Worked where other mesh systems wouldn't

I bought a competitor's product, similar price point and solid reputation. I gave it time, tried moving the access points, and went through all of their trouble shooting - it just wasn't able to make a good connection in my basement. I bought and set up the AC3000 in the exact same positions (where I wanted them for best coverage), and I have a perfect connection throughout my house. Exceptional product that is very easy to use and well worth the money. My house is a 1920s Tudor and is built with solid stone walls - nothing got through but this.

It Works

I am a IT Professional for a state university and have held numerous certifications including Network+ and CCNA. I got the Orbi mesh system because when I'm at home the last thing I want to do is tinker with computers and networks. I do it all day. I need my home life to be free of that noise. We have 3 units in the home and it covers all corners, including a bit outside. If you like to tinker and optimize and do fancy nerdy things- this may not be for you. If you want to plug something in and walk away with functional robust coverage - here you go.

Great WiFi router with good coverage!

I bought this router for my new house and I'm completely satisfied with the coverage and easy to setup. Myself and internet company professional tested the coverage with our mobiles around the house and we were getting full strength when we placed the router in center of our house. We are here talking about 3000 sq ft house. Also the setup is very simple via orbi app and it is very user friendly. I would recommend this router since it has great coverage and also easy to install. We can also monitor our internet connection using the app remotely too.

If you are like me, you have been trying to decide if mesh networks are worth the money. In this case yes. The Orbi is super simple to setup and you are running in minutes. My entire home is now covered with strong WIFI from basement office to backyard deck. The router and satellites connect devices to the appropriate band 2.4 / 5 seamlessly. My WIFI bandwidth also increased using Orbi. The Orbi apps is easy to use and provides advanced setup options. I find the default settings,other than password, work fine for me. For me, money well spent.

Orbi RBK50 Works Very Well For Me

I upgraded from Sagemcom wifi router rented from my ISP. This router was essentially useless. The Orbi RBK50 gives me a strong fast signal throughout my home. My split level home is aprox. 4400 sq. ft underbeam. My ISP provided speed is about 215 Mbps. My Orbi is providing a strong wifi signal that ranges from 87 - 99 Mbps on the second level and 111 -115 Mbps on the first level. Speed starts dropping off about 30 ft. from satellite.
I am very happy with my Orbi RBK50 as I now have strong wifi throughout my home and my wifi devices actually work.
