Best router I've owned

I have high speed Comcast at home. I was getting about 220Mbps in my living room, and had to buy a repeater to even get a connection in my bedroom. I was also using a Powerline adapter so that I could connect my desktops to the Network, and through that I was getting capped at around 50Mbps. With the Orbi setup, I have 270+ Mbps throughout the house my yard, as well as my wired desktops (connected to the Orbi satellite router). I didn't even realize my Internet went that fast.

I have 50 total wired/wireless devices in my home: Arlo Pro 2 Cameras, Wemo plugs, Amazon Echos, D Link Cameras, ADT Pulse System, Wi-Fi Locks, Rachio Irrigation, switches, thermostat and lots more. This mesh system works across my entire home seamlessly and full coverage across the house and yard. The system is flawless, easy to operate and fully integrates with a multitude of different devices made by numerous companies. Superior product with extraordinary responsiveness.

Top notch device

I found the Orbi experience a huge benefit in our house. I installed these devices thinking it will be minimal gain, but the seamless nature of the setup and the switching between the experience is a huge benefit for these house-wide services that expect to be accessible under one wifi network. On top of this the device usage monitoring and traffic functionality through the app has been very handy when understanding how much bandwidth a particular device in the house is using.

Works like a charm!

Took less than 30 minutes to set up by just following instructions. I gave it the same name as my old system and used the same password so everything connected automatically. Range and speed is fantastic! I now have great signal out on my patio and in the far reaches of my garage. Plan on using a firestick to run TV in my garage and patio now that I have a great wireless signal. Was hesitant about the price but you get what you pay for...sometimes the best costs a little more!

So Simple - Great Performance!

The Orbi RBK50 Router and Satellite were so simple to set up. We have a three story house with cable coming in at the northeast corner of the first floor. I was able to put the satellite on the third floor and get coverage all over the house at the full 100 Mbps input, even at the southeast corner of the third floor above the garage (with a firewall!). Amazing! No reliability problems so far. The iOS app is just enough for my needs and is super easy to interpret and use.

Noticeable improvement

Our condo is not that big, but it is totally wireless. I used the RBK50 to "replace" my AT&T supplied fiber router, and the difference was noticeable. I have Apple TVs both upstairs and downstairs. I put the base downstairs and the satellite upstairs. My speed was good before, but slightly better now. I was able to connect my PC and Apple TV upstairs via ethernet off the satellite - very nice. The bottom line is the RBK50 reduced my Apple TV buffering in both down and upstairs.

Big old House

I was looking for a product that would be manageable and able to cover our large old home. I have struggled to find solutions to provide WiFi throughout our house as it was built in 1921 as a school. The plaster walls and size 7000sqft posed a challenge. i had even used enterprise grade access points. The Orbi is working Great, i am currently ordering one more satellite to add to the system. this is replacing 7 other access points that were needed to provide the same coverage.

Home network upgrade

I was in need of a home network upgrade as I got gigabit connectivity and my existing internal network was all 100M at best. A few Netgear gig switches plus an Orbi. The Orbi was a desire for high speed plus better coverage. Now I have a great network with no limitations on the internal side. Only thing I was unaware, which is my own fault, is the Disney Circle which we've grown to love is a paid subscription now and I cannot use my old Disney Circle device as it's 10/100 only.
