Great Wi-Fi

We updated our previous WiFI system to the Netgear Orbi RBK50 about 2 weeks ago. We have about a 3000 sq ft house and now we can get WiFi all through the house with no problem! It even reaches pretty far out into our yard. This past weekend we had a lot of company and they were hanging out on our back patio. Took our Echo Dot out there to play music and it got the WiFi signal perfectly! So very pleased. It was easy to set up as well. :)

ORBI - what a great difference!!

Was complaining to the ISP that the internet was slow. They replaced some wires and it helped a bit. Changed the modem, it help a bit more. Decided to try replacing the router, selected ORBI because of reviews and the "mesh" approach. What a remarkable difference. Went from mostly less than 10 Mb/sec to a steady 80 Mb/sec. We have 6 or 7 devices in the house and now for the first time we can use them all at the same time. Worth every penny.

Lightning Fast

I put up an RBK50 plus one satellite. Setup was mostly easy. It took a couple tries to get the Orbi app to find the device initially. Ever since initial setup, I've had consistent coverage and speed tests well over my subscription. I've recommended this unit once already and will continue to do so. I also work from home and we stream all TV and it's been great on both fronts with Orbi (as opposed to previous router which was only 3 years old).

Working System, Not Mixed Parts

I've used routers and APs in the past which worked okay, especially since the APs were hard wired. But, it was always a chore to maintain security updates. The Orbi wireless connection between satellite and main router works as well as the hard wired APs, is much easier to setup, it a working system rather than mixed parts. No issues, no forcing items to work together seamlessly, no pain in setup. The Orbi is worth every penny I spent on it.

Solid Performance - Highly Recommend

It's been 1 week but I've seen solid performance from the RBK50. I replaced my Apple Airport Extreme of 4 years. Orbi setup was incredibly easy. I am experiencing faster speeds from the satellite (300mbps) than the main router (250mbps). Also, noticing my Sonos system working much better, Apple TV streaming performance is outstanding in all rooms, and excellent video calling in all rooms. I am covering around 2250sq ft of a single floor condo.

I replaced an apple AirPort Extreme with a few airport express units around the house to "extend" the network. I had my wifi network set up this way for a few years,. apple discontinued these products and I became concerned about support,. obsolescence, etc. A friend recommended the Orbi system and Wow! he was right. Orbi blows away what my airport extreme system was doing. I am no truly getting fast speed everywhere. Excellent product !

Orbi AC3000

I installed the two node Orbi AC3000 WIFI system a few weeks ago and our home WIFI has dramatically improved. Previously we had a single Nighthawk router that also worked great but didn't cover enough of the house so we had several dead spots. The Orbi system is easy to set up and I had it working in minutes. My only regret is not buying the 3 node system (we have a large house!). I highly recommend the Orbi system if you have larger house.

you won't believe the difference

I have only had the orbi ac3000 for a couple weeks now but it is amazing how much better my wi-fi is. Out in my garage I had no internet service at all. Now it is great, not only there but in every corner of my house. My house is approximately 2851 square ft. not including the basement. I also have not had any buffering on the tv since installing this system. Can't speak right now for the longevity of the system but so far it is working great.
