Works great

Had a little trouble since I was hooking it up to a router that I still wanted to dispense DHCP, but now that everything is set up, the wifi coverage is great and seems rock solid. I had three separate wifi access points in the house and still didn't have the best coverage. I'd love the iPhone app to have more functionality, but just on coverage and stability alone, it was well worth it. My house is 3,000 sq feet and three floors.

So, I even the weakest signal in my house is easily 2 to 3 times stronger than before. The highest ping with my old router was about 53Mbps; the highest with Orbi averages 133Mbps. Just, wow! Researched for about a month and was originally going to go with the Google mesh system, but further research showed that this Orbi system offered so much more versatility with control and configuration, plus a better overall signal. No regrets!

Simple to use, but still robust and effective

Other than the automatic firmware not working, this device has been very simple to set up and use. The latest firmware (which required a manual install) added a lot of great features including support for Disney's parent control app Circle. My two piece setup is easily covering 4600 sq ft. Speed is sufficient to handle multiple device including AppleTVs, laptops and phones. Been in place for 4+ weeks and would highly recommend.

Solid WiFi through whole house

Literally took 30 minutes for me to replace my old single router with an Orbi router and two satelittes. I got some wall mounts from Amazon for the satellites and used the same SSID and password for the Orbi WiFi that I used on my old router so didn't have to change any of my connected devices.
Using speed test I now get about the same download speeds throughout my home that I used to get only when close to the old single router.

Fast, Range, Reliable

I've owned the Orbi RBK50 for over a week and it's still giving me the fast speeds all through my house; I've never lost signal on any cellular device nor tablet. I have two computers; one is connected right to the router and the other connected to the satellite (that has 4 Ethernet ports) along with a PS4 and an Xbox One. The speed of the RBK50 outshines the Google WiFi, if you want a router for the best gaming/streaming experience.

Finally! No Wi-Fi dead spots!!!

In the past, older Cisco pro grade equipment was used to cover approx 4600 sq ft over three floors including the basement. We used to have several dead spots and intermittent 'unexplained' drops. With this 5000 square foot Orbi (easy) setup there are no dead spots. Apple TV streaming issues from my iPhone are all resolved as well. Wi-Fi speeds are now consistently at least 6 times faster! I'm very pleased with this new setup!

Suffering in Silence!

I'd been trying to figure out my WiFi dead spot and offline issues for the last 18 months with no success. A extender through my internet provider didnt work and I bought two different extenders and boosters and no success. Finally a coworker suggested I try Orbi mesh system...they had the same issues and it fixed all of their issues. I was a bit skeptical at first but now I'm a believer and now an unpaid sales person for Orbi!

I researched other similar products and decided that the Orbi was the best but was worried that my wife might not like the appearance of the units however now I am so happy. It really has improved the WiFi reception in my entire property and my wife doesn't mind the appearance of the units. Also the parental/family controls with Disney's Circle is very easy and effective. We don't have to micromanage our kids any more. Great product!
