With the higher speed I had to move my normal router to the middle level of my house. Normally the better place to have a router, but for some reason it worked better upstairs. But with it on the middle level the upstairs had dead spots. With Orbi I have solid wifi throughout the house as well as a decent bubble outside the house. A great product.

Still THE best after 2 years

We purchased the Netgear Orbi system after dealing with areas of 'dead zones' in our house for years! We are finally able to maximize our internet service with enough devices to keep two teenagers happy! We've been using Orbi for over 2 years now and it's still just as good as day one. I wish we would have done this earlier. Goodbye buffering!!

Best router I've ever owned

We have a big family, 7 of us living in an old home, that we were told is not conducive to wireless signals from our router, and every other router we bought proved that, except for our ORBI router we just purchased. So grateful we took a chance, this piece of equipment really put the five other routers we tried to shame, we love our ORBI !!! THANK YOU

Amazing

We bought this router after finding out that the wifi router Xfinity gave us not only lacked in coverage through our entire house, but also didn't push the full speeds we were paying for. After upgrading to this router, we have full speed coverage throughout the entire house, with roughly 15 devices connected to it all the time. Definitely worth buying.

Works with Fiber!

I was looking for a whole home solution since my fiber internet router was having trouble with our plaster walls. I tried other whole home systems, but they weren't compatible with vlan taggin. The orbi ended up working great in AP mode, though the setup was a little tricky since the app tries to get it to set up in router mode. Overall great product!

Great mesh system, easy to setup and use

I replaced a Google Wifi system after experiencing wifi stability issues for most of the year that it was being used. The Orbi system is easy to setup and easy to use and has had none of the same issues that I faced with Google Wifi. The only feature that I would like to see is the able to split off the 2.4 band for smart home devices that require it.

Great Speed Easy to Setup

I had the Eero 3 pack and was constantly having speed issues with devices. Even though with both of these you can't select which band you'd like to use; I prefer 5 ghz, the Orbi seems to actually use the 5 ghz band so I get great speed all over the house. I wanted to like the Eero but Orbi is just better and has better range and speed with just 2 units.

Very good product

After a lot of research and reading reviews from different sources, I settled on the RBK50 and man am I glad that I did. As I am limited to a dsl connection where I live it has allowed me to stream shows while others are using other WiFi products. There are very minimal drops, relatively easy setup, and a blazing fast service. I highly recommend it!!!!!
