The soundbar on the market has seen!!

Whether I’m gaming, watching movies, catching a big game, working, or attending virtual classes, the sound is nothing short of phenomenal. The clarity, depth, and spatial audio truly create a 360° immersive experience, you don’t just hear it, you feel it. Explosions rumble, dialogue is crisp, and even the subtlest sound cues are crystal clear.
For gaming, it gives me an edge with precise directional audio. For movies and sports, it's like being in the theater or stadium. And when I’m working or in class, the voice enhancement keeps everything sharp and easy to follow. Pairing with my Samsung Neo QLED TV was seamless, and the synergy between them is unreal. For a sound bar its the best of the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 990F cannot replace my home theater system, but when it comes are media room it rumbles with the best. Bluetooth connectivity issues from time to time, but for the most part well built.

The best features of clear dynamic surround sound!

Feelings of being at an actual theater are astonishing when it comes to the dynamic surround sound. The adventurous excitement as if you are really apart of the game, when your headset is misplaced, is unremarkable to be content.

Great value Sounbar - QSymphony could be better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has very clear sound. Especially with Q-Symphony. But, it significantly reduces the bass of the overall system. So Q-Symphony is great for dialogue clarity, but very bad if you like the bass.

Exceptional product for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using the Samsung sound bar with the woofer and rear speakers as our main setup for the living room TV, and honestly, it’s been a total game changer for us. From the very first movie night, the difference in sound was incredible. The surround effect makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action, and the bass from the woofer is so powerful that it adds a whole new level to everything we watch or listen to. Even when we’re just watching regular TV shows, the dialogue comes through so clear that we never have to rewind to catch what someone said.
Setting it up was a breeze, too. I was a little worried it might be complicated, but the instructions were super clear and we had everything up and running in no time. The wireless connections for the rear speakers are a huge plus—no messy wires running across the room! It also connects easily to our other devices, so we can play music from our phones whenever we have friends over.
The sound easily fills our whole living room, making movie nights with family or just hanging out with friends so much more fun. Plus, the design is sleek and modern, so it fits right in with our decor without sticking out.
What really surprised us is how affordable this system is for what you get. It's half the price for similar quality of the competition.

Great Product but less $ options for same quality

We previously had a polk system and it's roughly the same quality besides the major bass difference. Overall we are satisfied with the system but probably would just go with a less expensive option next time.

We appreciate you providing your feedback and experience with the HW-Q990F soundbar. Please know there are a wide range of audio adjustments available to tune the sound to your liking.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear), you can set the audio function such as Auto EQ, Spacefit sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, Night mode, Sync, Surround speaker mode, Virtual. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.
Alternatively, you can press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.
You can try quickly optimizing the audio by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
To control the volume of each speaker, press the CH LEVEL button on the provided remote. Then select CENTER LEVEL, SIDE LEVEL, WIDE LEVEL, FRONT TOP LEVEL, REAR LEVEL, or REAR TOP LEVEL. Once you find the channel you are looking for, adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar.
1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in.
2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6.
Alternatively, you can adjust all of these same settings and more within the SmartThings app. Download the app for your iOS or Android device and then connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. From here, you will be able to adjust all of the same settings as the provided remote, but with the added benefit of being able to see the changes on your smart device.
