Especially with it being pared with our Samsung 77inch S97F OLED TV , the sound bar pared with the woofer and 2 additional speakers we have mounted behind us literally makes you feel like your right there in the action. Now I do have to admit im a samsung fan boy, but at the end of the day they make incredibly amazing products and im blessed 🙌 to be able to own everything flagship they have to offer 🙏. So if your in the market for a great soundbar, subwoofer, and 2 mid range speakers and have the money I would totally do it.

After testing options from JBL, ONN, Insignia, and Vizio, the Q990F consistently stands out. With 11.1.4 channels, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X, it delivers a rich, immersive audio experience that JBL and Vizio can't match at this level. The Q-Symphony feature, when paired with a compatible Samsung QLED TV, provides perfect integration and synchronization that rivals like Bose and Sonos just can’t replicate.
The built-in subwoofer and rear speakers deliver deep bass and clear mids, enhancing everything from movies to music. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a lot of different soundbars over the years, but the Samsung Q990F is the first one that genuinely impressed me the moment it powered on. The sound is crisp, powerful, and surprisingly clean even at higher volumes. You can hear every detail no matter where you’re standing or sitting in the room, which is something most systems claim but rarely deliver. The rear speakers actually create a real surround effect instead of just throwing noise behind you, and the sub hits hard without drowning out dialogue.
Setup was simple. After it paired with my Samsung TV, the Q‑Symphony feature made everything feel more connected, like the TV and soundbar were working together instead of separately. Wireless Dolby Atmos also surprised me — movies feel bigger, more immersive, and more detailed without needing a complicated setup. Plus normal TV shows sound clearer and more balanced, makes you feel almost like your there.
If I had to mention anything, it’s that the system takes up a little space, but once you hear it, that won’t matter. This is one upgrade you notice immediately, it’s hard to imagine going back to anything else after hearing it.

The first thing that stood out is how massive the sound feels. This isn’t just loud—it’s layered. With its 11.1.4 channel setup, you genuinely feel sound coming from all directions, including above you. Dolby Atmos content especially feels cinematic, with precise height effects and immersive surround staging.
Dialogue clarity is excellent (no more rewinding scenes), while the bass from the redesigned subwoofer hits deep but stays controlled—not muddy or overwhelming. It’s the kind of system where action scenes feel explosive, but quiet scenes still carry detail.
If you were to build a similar Atmos setup with separate speakers, you'd likely spend more—and deal with way more complexity.
Samsung went for a clean, minimal matte-black look, which blends nicely with most setups. The subwoofer is more compact than previous versions, so it doesn’t dominate the room.
It’s not flashy—but it looks premium enough and disappears into your setup, which I actually prefer.
Pairing was super smooth using HDMI eARC—plug and play. Supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast as well.
Voice assistant compatibility (Alexa built-in support in many setups) is cool.

It’s basically a “set it and forget it” system—the sound adapts automatically.

For everyday use (Netflix, YouTube, Spotify), it just elevates everything. Even regular TV shows sound richer and more engaging.
What I Loved, its truly immersive surround sound, it genuinely feels like having a home theater without the complicated setup.
The sound quality is the biggest highlight—super immersive with real depth. The Dolby Atmos performance is impressive, especially with the included rear speakers and subwoofer. You can actually feel sound moving around and above you, which makes movies and games way more engaging. Dialogue is clear, and the bass is deep but not overpowering.
Setup was easy with HDMI eARC, and it paired instantly with my TV. If you’re using a Samsung TV, Q-Symphony adds an extra layer of sound that makes everything feel fuller.
Design is clean and minimal, and it doesn’t take over the room. Smart features like AirPlay, Bluetooth, and SmartThings are a nice bonus and make daily use seamless.
It’s definitely on the expensive side, but considering it replaces a full surround system, I think may be it’s worth it.

I would recommend this to a friend!
