[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up is very easy if you already have a Samsung tv. Game gaming hub is also a great. However you really need to have a great wifi connetion to get the most out of game hub. I am very happy with the freestyle so far. I added bluetooth speakers for added sound. Smart things also allows you to use your phone as the remote. I also like the solar remote.

WOW!!! The picture looks great and having a game hub incorporated is awesome. I received my first unit and have number 2 in route. I will post a updated picture with both projectors paired together. All I'm missing in my home is a dishwasher and everything in my house is samsung from laundry, kitchen and entertainment. Smart things is a little glitchy but after a few tries and a little patience, I was able to pair my freestyle with my 990Q soundbar. Now, I just need to experiment with screen colors and I will review what works best for the freestyle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's awesome to hear of your experience with The Freestyle 2nd Gen with Gaming Hub! Your new Projector automatically sets up your best picture experience, adjusting focus, keystone and leveling—at the image size you want.

For a smoother SmartThings experience, please check and try the following:

1. Check the wireless network status. Data reception may be slow, or temporary interruptions may occur when loading the app. If the router and the Projector are far apart, the communication may not be smooth and registration may fail.

2. Check for software updates. Make sure the software on your smartphone and SmartThings app is up to date, and if necessary, update the firmware of your Projector as well.
- You can check for updates on your Projector by going to: Home > Settings > Support > Software Update.

3. Make sure your phone and Projector are connected to the same network as your router to be discovered by the app.

4. Refresh the device using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list. If needed, delete and re-add the Projector on the SmartThings app.

First time Projector TV user

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm getting ready to move cross country. I wanted a television that was affordable,
portable, and compact. I found the Freestyle Gen2 projector. From the first use I was hooked and love this way of watching television. Currently, I have the projector set up in my bedroom. I love the fact that I can watch it on any wall or even the ceiling if I choose. I love that I can make it as small or large as I want. Another feature I love is that all I need is an internet connection to watch all my streaming services such as PRIME VIDEO, DISNEY+, PARAMOUNT+, and a wealth of free TV and I can also listen to my music all from one small device. I absolutely love this device.

Hi,

We appreciate your feedback on the brightness level. If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
Movie: Is suitable for watching Projector or movies in a dark room.

You can also manually fine tune your image under Expert Settings. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
