Perfect for projects and entertainment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to help my wife with a presentation she had to do. It worked perfectly as a monitor for our laptop. Image is nice and clear and the auto adjust made it easy for her to set up. Also is really good for a large screen when playing video games.

Disappointment with input

I was exited when I bought this little projector. I liked the quality and I was easy to use as its interface looked and sounded like my home TVs. However, I was completely confused on Samsungs input choices. They only give you the input option of micro HDMI; not standard HDMI and no USB. I cannot use my external drives as they are USB. Seriously, who uses solely micro HDMI? I’ve rarely seen micro HDMI on anything. What a waste as now I have to return and look for something else. What a disappointment. Samsung, why not just a standard HDMI input?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second time around is the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own the first version and comparing the second one to it, it is a definitive upgrade. I love that Samsung packs A LOT of features in their devices. People need to check out the features. I still find new things. This proyector is super portable and loud enough. I definitively recommend this proyector. Did you know you can adjust the picture to match the color of the wall so the colors are not merged? No more need for a white background. Woohoo!

Loved it…but too many problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this. It looks great and the setup and menu is easy, my first projector was a hit. My only complaint is if content is a bit dark, it will not be as easy to view. But overall it was a great gift…Until soon it wasn’t. Only after a short time I noticed it was running so hot, I saw online to not keep plugged in. But then it started having issues with the autofocus and even worse a pixelated screen upon starting. At times I’d have to restart up to 30 times to get a picture. Now after coming back from a trip, it’s also glitchy and certain colors or oversaturated and flashing etc. So, we will try to send it back while under warranty as it’s unwatchable at this point. Please update this unit as I read most of these issues have been commonplace. I truly want to enjoy this unit and used to Samsung interface. It’s a bit of a letdown I’ll have to send back and probably wait for a refurbished unit, I fear it too will only last a bit. Great concept, but bugs not worked out for this price point.

Counterintuitively great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three of these tvs, and most of the time it's my young children and other family members that use it. I like that it's not too bright or not to sharp in focus, because we use it on walls.
It does help reduce TV time as well as I stream because of this. Another plus is the space that you gain. We could always use one of those pop up or pull down projector screens but using it on the wall is less intrusive.
