Samsung Freestyle Is Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. That is the one word I would use to describe this product. This product is absolutely amazing. From how easy it is to set up to the beautiful picture quality it displays to the sound that comes from the unit itself, each component is 10 out of 10. My wife and I were able to set up a movie date night right at our house! What made it even more special was that we enjoyed the experience with our pups which we would typically never be able to do in the theaters. I would highly recommend this product to a friend or family member if they were looking for something in the projection realm. Can't wait to play games on this!

Movie screen Quality projector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung The Freestyle with Gaming Hub projector has by far exceeded my expectations. I’ve owned projectors in the past that didn’t measure up to the hype. However, I must say Samsung went above and beyond with all the bells and whistles on this model. I literally can take the projector anywhere in my home point it to a wall or ceiling and can watch anything my heart desires on this bad boy. I am thoroughly impressed by the picture quality, and even the sound this projector puts out. I would suggest connecting to a sound bar or speaker when in bigger spaces or with several people. I highly recommend purchasing Samsung The Freestyle with Gaming Hub projector you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent in low light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture: This project produces a fantastic picture! It’s difficult to describe what aspect of the pictures is so clear and crisp. We were watching it outside at night and were highly impressed it. We have a OLED TV that produces a great an excellent view and this project creates a view that is the same or even better in some ways than our TV
Projection Surfaces and Features: This project has so many useful features when it comes to creating a good picture on whatever surface you are using as a backdrop. It automatically adjusts the screen after you have settled on your surface. If the screen is too large, the total picture size can be reduced within the software. You are also able to move the screen to a particular area if you have it reduced if the place you have your projector resting isn’t mobile or the places you can set it are limited. There are also features to adjust the image to be able to account for the angle of the surface.
Sound: The speaker is fantastic for a projector speaker. You also have the option to connect a Bluetooth speaker option which we have done just to test it out.
Remote Control: It’s a unique concept that is solar powered. I like the idea of not needing a battery. The functions on the remote are like a google chromecast with even more options. I thought the extra options were welcome for quick navigation
Software: I highly recommend you get the Samsung Smart Things account setup and registered to this device. You can use your phone vs the remote. The Bixby voice commands worked well with getting various apps download like ESPN, Plex, Spectrum TV, Prime Video, Netflix, etc. There are several different modes where you can create a ambiance environment for parties when paired with music can really create a fun background for any occasion.
“The Bad” – The only feature that I would complain about is that this projector doesn’t do well in daylight conditions. The lumen rating isn’t all the high and it suffers quite a bit in outdoor environments where there is still a decent amount of daylight remaining. I tried to use this in shaded areas of our backyard in the evening when the sun was setting, and it was still difficult to see the pictures.
Conclusion: The picture, portability, sound, and all-in-one package makes this projector a very compelling option for a media option. The only area I do not recommend is for use in bright light environments.

Setting up the Freestyle Gen 2 was a breeze, The user-friendly interface and straightforward controls made it a hassle-free process. I appreciate the flexibility to stream content from various sources, making it a versatile addition to my home theater.
One standout feature is the built-in speakers. The audio quality is surprisingly good, eliminating the need for external speakers in most cases. However, if you want to take your audio experience to the next level, there are convenient connectivity options for external sound systems.
The portability of this projector is a major plus. It’s easy to move around the house or even take outdoors for movie nights under the stars.
Thanks to the Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 projector, I no longer need to go to movie theaters to enjoy a cinematic experience. Very Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I immediately opened this package when it arrived. I love the white sleek design to go with the other elements in my decor. I have enjoyed watching Network on it and the picture quality is really nice. If I aim it in the direction of the corners of a room in my home it doesn't distort the image. The instructions that came with the product weren't 100% helpful as I had to figure out how to turn it on and that it had to be connected with the power cord at all times. The machine does run hot when you've has it on for an extended period of time but it definitely is nice to have. I bought an exterior extension cord to be able to use this outdoors so I can cast it on the back of my home and it has been a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this gadget I only wish it were wireless.

From there, you can select the Freestyle 2nd Gen (LFF3C) under Projectors to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual as well as the Remote Guide are also embedded into the Projector itself under Menu > Settings > Support.
Watching content for an extended period of time can cause the unit to generate heat, which is released through the vents on the projector. The vents may feel hot to the touch when the projector has been used for an extended period of time. This heat, however, is not a defect and doesn’t affect functionality. When in use, make sure you maintain a distance of at least 4 inches between the projector and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to ensure proper ventilation.
Please also keep in mind that with voice recognition always enabled, the projector’s Wi-Fi and microphone modules remain active even when the power is turned off. If you feel heat even when the device is off, turn off AoV (Always on Voice) Mode.
To disable this setting, go to: Menu > Settings > General & Privacy > Voice
- Alexa: Turn off Voice Wake-Up
- Bixby: Under Bixby wake-up options, select “Only use the Bixby button” or “Additionally saying ‘Hi Bixby’”.

Great Portable Smart Theater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen with Gaming Hub is a portable smart theater projector on the go. With less than 2lb, and a dimension of about 4 in x 7 in, it’s a handy little projector that brings you some of the best parts of the larger projectors in a smaller package, i.e. autofocus, keystone, and leveling – all so you can enjoy movies, tv shows, and other entertainment within minutes.
As for the technical specs, the Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen, is capable of a 30” to 100” screen, in HDR and HLG. Its contract rate is 100K:1 within the max resolution of 1080P at 60Hz. The max brightness is limited to 230 ANSI Lumen Peak, and the light source life cycle is 30,000 hrs. The internal speaker is 360 degrees with 5W output at about 30dB, with Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 5.0. The OS is Samsung Tizen.
As for the viewing experience, The Samsung Freestyle 230 ANSI Lumens limited my testing to indoors and during evening hours. However, the image quality in a mostly dark room was dynamic and vibrant. In a couple of test videos, I could see the highlight properly in my test video. Additionally, the Freestyle 2nd Gen has enough advanced picture settings to dial in for ideal preferences. I was impressed by the advanced picture setting for contract enhancement and motion blur
The Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen does offer great portability for just under 2lb. As for the connection, it offers Wi-Fi 5.0 and Bluetooth to connect to other devices. However, the lack of Wi-Fi 6, left me asking for more. The keystone feature is great and provides a smooth and quick lock-in all on the screen for any angle viewing.
On the apps, the Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen provides access to a host of common apps that you will need on the go to access your movies, TV shows, and sporting action to keep you busy. I could download and install all my usual apps without any issues. The OS Tizen was able to handle the majority of it but did seem to slow down after an extended use.
Overall, I believe the Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen is a great tech with its easy setup, smart entertainment center, gaming hub, and overall size. If you can pick this up at the right price, it might be a great addition to your tech package on the go.

Living in the Future!

My Samsung TV has given me entertainment and information for years with quality. I always wanted something with more freedom and ease of use. The Freestyle has provided that for me and I couldn’t be more happy to use this on my wall and enjoy entertainment as I’ve never had before. Great design, bright vivid picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Freestyle. I use it by itself or connect to my Galaxy s23 ultra or to my roku device. I love the design sometimes I just point right on my ceiling lay down on my bed and watch it. I take it outside use my power bank and use it via my cellphone. I'm surprised how vivid and bright it is. I love it so far. I hope Samsung will make 4k version of it.
