Wasn't sure what to expect, but really like the mat and pillow. I've used the pillow a few more times than the mat, because it's so easy to just prop on the couch and relieve a little tension. The plastic points ARE very sharp, but once you settle in you get used to it and it feels great. (The instructions say this, but it does work more effectively if your bare skin is on the mat/pillow, versus wearing a shirt.)

I have used it in the evenings for 10-15 minutes at a time, as well as during floorwork during an Alexander Technique class. I feel more energized and less achy after using it, and I appreciate the resulting changes to my outlook on the world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This acupressure mat and pillow take a little getting used to. I jokingly refer to it as my bed of nails. But if you give it a chance you'll find it to be relaxing and quite helpful for relieving stress and muscle soreness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mat does everything it claims! I felt the tension relief in my shoulders and neck following the first usage. I bought mats for my 3 daughters, and they had the same experience. As other users have noted, get through the first 2 minutes or so .. and you run the risk of falling asleep while using it. Outstanding buy!
