The battery barely gets 17_18 hours on a full charge. I have cut all wifi, location off. Screen wakeup set to touch only. This is my 6 day and the battery has to be charged twice daily to get 24 hours use.

We appreciate your feedback, Tom. Your input is highly valued as we strive to make continuous improvements. We have noticed that you contacted us regarding your thoughts on the new Galaxy Watch7. We understand the importance of a good battery life, especially for features like the sleep tracker with Galaxy AI, which can also help detect moderate to severe sleep apnea. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or reduced battery life. For instance, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Please refer to the attached link to learn more about how to extend your watch's battery life. If this persists, please contact Samsung Support for further assistance. - Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/ (optimize battery life) smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
This is the 4th generation of Galaxy watch I have owned. Truly regret upgrading to the 7. AWFUL battery life. Fully charged in the am, need to charge it again mid-day and if I want to use it all night for sleep features I have to charge it again before bed. The watch doesn't seem nearly as substantial as the 6 and I have lost the rotating bezel feature I really liked.

WORST battery life in four generations of watches!
on July 26, 2024
Posted by: TimE
I have owned four generations of this watch, and loved all of them! Today, I truly regret having "upgraded" from my Galaxy Watch 6 to the 7. The six was a much more substantial watch with rotating bezel. The 7 feels flimsy and cheap and the rotating bezel is gone. Worst of all. I can't make it through a work day on the battery. AWFUL battery life. I have to charge it mid-day and then again before bed if I want to use it at night as designed.

Hey Tim! Your feedback is greatly appreciated. It looks like you reached out to share your thoughts on the new Galaxy Watch7. We hate to see that you haven't been satisfied with your new watch so far compared to the older versions. The Galaxy Watch7 includes notable improvements like the new 3nm processor, which enhances performance and power efficiency. This should help improve speed and overall functionality, especially for multitasking and fitness tracking. Battery life is indeed important, and the Galaxy Watch7 features a 425mAh battery in the 44mm version, comparable to the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. However, if you're experiencing a faster drain of battery, it's important to ensure that you are running the latest software available on your watch. Software updates are like oil changes and tune-ups for your phone or tablet - they keep things running smoothly. They also help improve the user interface, enhance security, and remove minor bugs. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your battery performance. We also noted your concerns about the lack of a rotating bezel and the feel of your watch. Again, your feedback is greatly appreciated and invaluable to us. If you are still experiencing shortened battery life after troubleshooting, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can further assist you. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/ (optimize battery life) smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
The watch is very beautiful, especially the green color, and it is also light, and this is what I was suffering from in the past hour. In general, everything is beautiful and wonderful. I just hope that the battery performance will be improved so that it can keep up with the watches on the market, which are lower than them.
bad battery life. worse then watch 4. otherwise no visible changes at all.

We understand how important it is for your device to long battery life. We recommend performing a diagnostic on your battery. Traded in my Watch5 40mm for this Watch7 44mm. Overall extremely pleased; the new design combined with the fabric band make it so comfortable to wear. I haven't quite gotten the chance to delve into some of the newer features of this generation, but gestures like the "Double Pinch" to answer calls or interact with notifications is a cool feature. Same with the "Shake to Dismiss" feature that lets you dismiss notifications and phone calls. Being the 44mm size, it does take some getting used to; if you bent your wrist to far up the watch will dig into the skin which is not very comfortable. Battery life is decent; more than 24-hours later it still has 53%, but I wonder how much power will be consumed during things like workout tracking and music streaming.
