Horrible battery life

Battery life is absurdly low. I can just picture the Samsung smart watch 7 engineers having this conversation, "Hey, we could buy a certain competitors watch and check out their battery and try to match their tech, their battery lasts all day. We could but I have an even better idea, let's see what the cheapest tech out there is and use it, plus it's cheaper. Great Idea!" I have had my Galaxy 7 smartwatch for 7 days and have factory reset in 3 times now. Each time the battery will last all day for 2 days then on the 3rd day it drops to lasting to just over 3 hrs. I recharge it and it's back to 3 hours. Then I factory reset it and for 2 days it's great, then the 3rd day back to 3 hours a charge. I haven't added any apps either. Ridiculous, Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for pawning off such garbage to its customers. They have known about this issue and instead of making it better for the new 7 it's worse than the previous version. Samsung, you need to do better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought the battery might have improved over my previous 5 version, but it really hasn't. My distances seem to be off a little too, even though I've changed and messed with various settings several times. I feel that the watch is an exact replica of the 5 version.

Battery does not last long...have to charge watch at least twice a week. Otherwise, watch is good for other things.

Bought because of the great trade in value for my watch 4 classic. Battery is good enough to last one day and night and the features are much better than the 4. Do miss the physical bezel though. Great buy if you have a older watch to take advantage of the trade in specials.

No classsic??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my wife the new galaxy watch 7 as she had the very last fit** they released and didn't want to go to the G man as she has a Flip 5. She was very skeptical because of how much she loved the fitness ecosystem and users but not necessarily the hardware. She has seen my galaxy watch 6 classic and really seemed to like it. So when her current fitness smartwatch stopped working i got her the watch 7. Now she loves the fit and finish and look and all of that flashing, but she still doesn't enjoy the fitness experience as much as she has on past devices. But now that she has had it for a little while and has had time to really dive deep into the watch she loves it! Her only complaint was that she doesn't like the digital rotating bezels as much as my physical rotating bezel. So moral, great watch, definitely compared to the competition, just bring back the physical rotating bezel for ever!

Ecg and blood pressure will not work unless you have a Samsung phone. There was a workaround but stopped working after ui8 update. Never buying another Samsung product
