Always on my watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to purchase a smartwatch, as I was not super in love with the idea of having another phone begging for my attention, let alone on my body, or that it's in my face, but the truth is a lot of those fears aren't warranted. You can disable any, all, or specific notifications, set up a non-intrusive watch-face and the strap is comfortable. It blends in when I don't need it and handy when I do. Just how I want!
I had struggled with the motivation to get up, especially after a hard day of teaching, but the three rings I've found are great motivators to not give up. For the past few days in a row, I've completed my rings and I'm feeling a lot more alive and well (and you can't put a price on that). Speaking of which, Samsung devices are well known for their very kind sales and discounts you can find, especially around the holidays.
The water resistance so far is very promising - I had gotten the watch to track my swimming, canoeing and jogging and so far I'm super impressed with the tracking. The auto tracker is nice because it reminds me that small menial tasks like laundry and cleaning are also good exercises and help add up.
The LTE feature provides peace of mind, ensuring I’m reachable in emergencies even if my phone is unavailable. It’s also useful for weekend phone detoxes.
PS The combination of WearOS apps includes being able to turn on and control my TV with it. Do what you want with that wizardry ;)

Very poor battery life. It can't even hold charge for few hours. Shame on samsung to release such an inferior product without testing fully

What an upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Galaxt Active 2 watch for years and it sis me well but I finally bit the dust and upgraded. Im so happy that I did the features on this watch are amazing. The health diagnostics are pretty accurate. I don't use them for diagnosis but it helps for daily use. I also use the exercise and sleep apps on a daily basis as well. Galaxy AI help make the transition from my 2 to my 7 super easy. I would definitely recommend this investment.

The GPS on this watch is very inaccurate, and does not come close to what I get using only my S23, and what I got on my many years old Galaxy Active watch. That watch always agreed with any of my phones.
I used the new watch on vacation when we were around 5,000 feet elevation and a completely clear sky. Even under these ideal conditions it was still not accurate.
Second, the watchband style where the excess is pushed under leaves bruises on my arm. On my Active watch I had to buy a replacement for the fix.
Samsung, this is not the high quality that we expect from you.
I used the new watch on vacation when we were around 5,000 feet elevation and a completely clear sky. Even under these ideal conditions it was still not accurate.
Second, the watchband style where the excess is pushed under leaves bruises on my arm. On my Active watch I had to buy a replacement for the fix.

The features the watch offers are great. However, the battery drains quickly, even after the supposed patch fix. Sleeping it losses 25-30% from 100%. Turning bluetooth off helps but still 15-27%. If watch updates while sleeping, losses 85%! I have turned off wifi, any fitness tracking, heart rate monitor, location, notifications, and anything that can be turned off and still have to charge 1-2 times a day. I've only had for just over 2 wks but turning everything off isn't what I purchased it for. Overall not happy due to extreme lack of battery life. The sleep and fitness tracking are very good and detailed info but if I use them I have to charge it 3-4 times a day. Unacceptable for the price.
