Great watch, but not a 5 star because it is no longer compatible with Samsungs built-in wireless charger. I travel a lot, and hate carrying extra cables.

Horrible sleep tracker
on July 30, 2024
Posted by: Eddie
Doesn't keep track of my sleep. For the past week it says I have not had more than 3 1\2 hours of sleep a night when I know I'm sleeping more than that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HORRIBLE BATTERY LIFE

This is the worst watch yet. I started with Samsung's watch 3 and upgraded to every one since. This watch 7 is by far the worst watch. The battery is horrible and won't even last a sleep cycling of 8 hours which is kinda laughable since they are supposed to track your sleeping habits through the night. It won't even last through the night. You can try to go through all the settings and make it save power but nothing helps not even power saving mode. I think that drains the battery even more! I wish I would have just stuck with the watch 6.

Hey Techgal. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we continue to make constant improvements. It looks like you reached out to share your feedback on the Galaxy Watch7. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Keep reading to learn more about how to increase your watch's battery life. If your watch is paired with a Samsung phone you can use Samsung Members to perform a diagnostic on your watch battery. If it passes the test, you'll know the battery is in good condition. It's also important to update the software on your watch. Software updates are like oil changes and tune-ups for your phone or tablet - they keep things running smoothly. They also help improve the user interface, enhance security, and remove minor bugs. From Settings, tap Software Update to check for available software updates. Check out the link we've provided that gives you additional options to help optimize your Watch7's battery life. If this persists, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/ smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
I love this watch. It has more features and the quality of the watch is so much better than the Galaxy watch 4.

Battery is HORRIBLE!!
on July 28, 2024

This new watch 7 is the worst! I've had all the models from the watch 3 to this one, and I've never had any problems with the battery before. But this watch 7 doesn't even last a full day or even a full 8-hour sleep cycle. It's supposed to help track sleep cycles, but how can it do that when it doesn't last through the night? I traded in my watch 6 for this one, and now all I want is my watch 6 back. They can take the watch 7 back, no thank you to this 7 model.

Awful battery life and battery drain. Cool watch but might as well be a paper weight with the poor battery life. I can not make it through an 8 hour work day without it dying and if you leave it off the charger over night it loses 40% battery. I came from a watch 4 where you never had to worry about charging for at least 24 hours so this is ridiculous.
