Nice but the battery is garbage! My Garmin watch is 5 or 6 years old and last 3 times as long. I disabled most of the features and use battery save mode and not much better. But it looks nice.

Hi Darryl! Thank you for taking the time to reach out and share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7. The Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra have enhanced AI features, including improved options for sleep tracking and workout routines. You can try marathon workouts, such as triathlons, receive detailed analyses of your current health and wellness, including energy scores, and monitor your sleep patterns more effectively. We understand that having a long-lasting battery is key to having the best experience with your watch. To ensure your watch has a long-lasting battery, use the Samsung Members app on your paired Samsung phone to run a diagnostic test; if it passes, the battery is in good shape. Additionally, make sure to update your software and apps regularly, as outdated apps can cause excessive battery drain. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your watch's battery life. If this persists, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/ smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus

Poor Battery Life

Bought this watch 3 months ago, very disappointed with the battery life. My previous watch 5 battery last longer than this watch 7. Fully charged @9am and 50% battery gone before 5pm :( I turned off watch with 18% battery the other night and the next morning - battery totally out, not able to turn it on.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with the Galaxy Watch7, Lang. We always appreciate the feedback we get from our customers. The Watch7 has a rated capacity of 425 mAh for the 44mm model and 300 mAh for the 40mm model. Actual battery life may vary depending on network conditions, usage patterns, and other factors. The new 3nm processor enhances your daily routine and optimizes battery life, ensuring that the Galaxy Watch7 keeps up with you. If you're noticing battery drain or reduced life, certain apps may be consuming more power. If the watch is paired with a Samsung phone, you can use Samsung Members to run a diagnostic test on the battery; if it passes, the battery is likely in good condition. Also, make sure to keep your apps and software updated, as outdated versions can lead to increased battery usage. Be sure to check out the link attached for options to help optimize your watch's battery life. I'm very much enjoying the watch and it's features. I'm sure I'm not using it for 1/10th of what you can use it for. The only cons I've found are the battery life (which I had read about) and also I have tried 6 ways to Sunday to set up Health Connect with Samsung Health to pass data to Google Fit and it just will not work. I use another health application that connects to fitness trackers but doesn't offer Samsung, but they do use Google Fit. And I just not seem to make it work.
But being able to change the watch face to focus on different health (or other) points, the direct connect to my Samsung phone, and how many different things the watch is able to do far outweigh my issues, especially since I switched from a FitBit, which Google seems to be set on killing off. And I would highly recommend that you have a Samsung phone as that was also what I've read and been told is a super plus for buying this watch.
