I love everything about my watch except the battery life. I did figure out if I made it only turn on when I hit the button the battery life went from less than 24hrs to about 2.5 days. So this is how I am using it now.

Very nice watch, does seem faster than the 6. But the battery life is a lot worse, even when i turn off everything, it drains faster than the 6.

Wireless Charging by using Samsung phone

I love my new watch, galaxy 7, however I just discovered that I can not charge by using the wireless option on my Samsung phone. I came across a tutorial stating it is due to the design of this watch. Is that true or has anybody been able to charge it wireless by just placing in on the back of your phone?
If that is the case why Samsung would you do this? Design oops?

Poor battery life

I bought this around two months ago thinking it would be an upgrade from my watch 5 pro. The improvements are minimal. The bezel is slightly better. The thickness is barely different. The battery is terrible. I wish I hadn't traded in my old watch and its too late to return it. I may have had better luck with the the 7pro but I didn't feel like it presented enough of a value and I hated the rpund/square shape.

The Watch6 helps you know how ready you are to take on the day using your personalized Energy Score with Galaxy AI. It calculates today’s physical readiness based on what you did yesterday. Once you know your score, challenge yourself to improve it a little bit every day. We hate to see that you are experiencing a shortened battery life on your watch. The first thing we recommend doing is to updates your apps and the watch itself to the latest software available. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Depending on your watch, you will either tap Watch settings or tap SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About watch, and then tap Update watch software. Or, tap About Gear, and then tap Update Gear software. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your watch's battery life. Long time galaxy watch User. I up grade every year. I miss my Galaxy 6 back. Sleep data is terrible and I miss the rotating bezel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Making sure you receive the correct amount of sleep each night is easy when you use the AI sleep analysis features on the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Simply wear your watch when it’s time to turn in for the night and allow it to monitor and calculate your sleep data, such as your blood oxygen and skin temperature. Your watch can also detect sleep-related breathing disorders, such as sleep apnea. Samsung Health can track your sleep through a connected Wearable, such as a Galaxy Watch.
