I'm very disappointed with Samsung. I bought to replace my Samsung Watch 4, 44mm. This watch is considerably more expensive. I was bummed that black wasn't option and I almost didn't buy as a result. I finally pulled the trigger. I have been testing it for a few days. I don't notice a difference in battery life, charge time. The touted AI features are just for sleep analysis, no new bixby/assistant features. The corrugated bands aren't as comfortable. The worst part is that Samsung did away with the Wireless Power Sharing function! That was the whole reason I bought a Samsung and not a Garmin, etc. Overall this watch is not a good value, I'd recommend getting last years model, the 6 for half the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's great to hear from you, Joxic. We always look forward to hearing from our valued customers. We see that you reached out to share your thoughts about the Galaxy Watch7. Your favorite AI assistant, Bixby, is now more accessible than ever because it’s available on select Samsung smartwatches. This means you can command Bixby without using your phone. We’ve outlined the steps to get Bixby up and running on your watch. The following Bixby features can be used on your Galaxy watch: Voice commands, where you can activate Bixby with the default "Hi Bixby" voice command, or press the Home button twice. For some models, holding down the Home button also works. You can also customize commands, and adjust settings to customize your interaction, such as changing the double-press action. Discover commands by exploring Bixby through the app to view a list of commands like playing music, finding your phone, or making calls. Lastly, optimize for multiple devices. If you own several Bixby-enabled devices, ensure they are on the same network or maintain distance between them to prevent simultaneous activation. You can use the following steps to get Bixby set up on your Galaxy watch. On your watch, navigate to and open the Bixby app. You can also activate Bixby by pressing and holding the Home (Power) button or by double pressing it. Next, grant permissions to allow Bixby to access the necessary features on your watch, and review the Privacy Notice when prompted. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process and familiarize yourself with Bixby's functionalities on your watch. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
I have owned each version of the Galaxy Watch. I was going to pass on this one as I LOVED the Galaxy6. However, the trade-in incentive was too good to pass up in conjunction with the battery improvement in the 7. Boy, am I glad I upgraded. The transfer from the 6 to the 7 was seamless. It took less than 5 minutes to accomplish. Processing time has been improved enough for it to be obvious in most operations. The clarity of the screen is better as is the battery life. The additions to the watch's capabilities in conjunction with the Samsung Health app are great for an active Senior like me. This remains my favorite piece of personal technology.
My Galaxy watch 7 is sleek and yet Sporty. It was easy to switch from the turn dial like my other watch. do think the battery doesn't keep its charge as long. have a tiny wrist, so the band is easy to adjust. Overall I am pleased. I do think the battery doesn't keep its charge as long.
