Love the watch! Coming from a Watch 4, I like the new band, and the battery life seems to be much beeter than my 4.
My critical feedback is that being 3 generations newer, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of differences. Also, really wish Samsung Wear app supported standalone routines for the watch, not ones only dependent on your phone's status.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the watch itself, but the battery life is pretty terrible. One day of use and it has to be charged. I basically have a routine now where I get up in the morning and have to charge it everyday after I get my sleep metrics. I have other watches that last more than a week, so this is my barometer.
Other than that, its light, well made, nice bright screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this is the first time I've really worn a watch and I'm loving it. I still need upgrade my phone. So I haven't tried out the Galaxy AI much.
I do like what I've seen though. So hopefully won't be long now.
I have the 40mm watch and was really worried at first about batter life. It's been amazing though. Lasts much longer than I expected.
It's the perfect size for me too. I wanted something lower profile and I have smaller wrists. I'll add a photo really quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is convenient to quickly check messages when I can't use my phone. They keyboard is bigger so it is easier to type. I get a lot of compliments on the watch. It looks really nice with the white band. The battery lasts really long, I can go days without charging it.

Battery issues. Needs to be recharged morning and night if I want to record my pulse rate round the clock. Also, if you are doing something like pushing a stroller, a lawn mower, a grocery cart etc. it is not recording your steps. Your arms have to swing for it to count your steps. If you can get it around your ankle you get a much more accurate step count for your day. The vinyl band it shipped with kicked off my psoriasis: bought a leather band at a jewelers. Has several nifty apps but the battery drain is super annoying.

For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Check out the link attached for options to help enhance your watch's battery life. Your Samsung smartwatch automatically tracks the number of steps you've taken while wearing it. Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. The step count may not increase immediately when walking or exercising due to the step count algorithm. When the algorithm detects 10 continuous steps, the algorithm starts to count your steps taken and updates the step count. We hate to see that you've experienced challenges with your watch band.
